According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Nava’s original release date was set for August 10, 2020 but he is eligible for community supervision.
The records state Nava could be released “90 days prior to a designated released date.” The Director of Arizona Department of Corrections has the power to decide if Nava gets let out early.
If he gets approved for community supervision he would be under tight restrictions and have to check in with a probation officer.
As The Blast previously reported, Jorge is currently locked up in ASPC – Phoenix. He was arrested for allegedly trying to sell 300 lbs. of marijuana in 2018. The official charges included possession of marijuana for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia and the intent to transport and/or sell marijuana. He was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison and will have to follow certain terms once out. He was facing up to 24 years in prison before reaching a deal with prosecutors.
Jorge’s prison release comes amid issues with his estranged wife Anfisa Arkhipchenko. While he has been locked up, the two kept their romance alive for a couple of months but then drifted apart.
Anfisa recently debuted a new man, Leo Assaf, on social media. She snuggled up to her boyfriend in the photo captioned, “Quarantine and chill?” Before revealing Leo to her followers, the reality star spoke about the hardships of being in a relationship with someone is locked up.
Only days after Anfisa posted the photo, Jorge spoke out from prison about his desire to legally end his marriage. He accused Anfisa of abandoning him during his prison sentence.
As The Blast first reported, Jorge isn’t the only “90 Day Fiancé” star facing legal issues.
