'90 Day Fiancé' Star Jonathan Rivera Engaged One Year After Split With Fernanda

Jonathan Rivera is ready to walk down the aisle. The "90 Day Fiancé" star is engaged for the second time just one year after calling it quits with Fernanda Flores. The 33-year-old popped the question to his girlfriend, Janelle Miller, and she said "yes!" He announced the exciting news on social media ahead of the weekend. Taking to his Instagram on Friday, June 19, Jonathan Rivera posted a photo with his new fiancée and showed off her big diamond ring.
Posting the first sweet photo of them as an engaged couple, Jonathan Rivera said the decision was a no-brainer. Showing him holding her hand, the TLC star captioned the snap, “Easiest decision I’ve ever made." His engagement with Janelle Miller cémes just one year after breaking things off with then-wife Fernanda.
"90 Day Fiancé" fans will recall their turbulent relationship and a walk down the aisle that almost didn't happen during season six. The relator confirmed their relationship ended in January 2019.
Following fan speculation about a potential breakup, Jonathan Rivera addressed the rumors. “I haven’t spoken to Fernanda since December 22,” he revealed to In Touch at the time. “I have a lot going on and so in the midst of all the craziness, I try to focus on what’s important.”
He seemingly referred to the reason behind the breakup, citing her failed modeling career. “She wanted to pursue a modeling career in Chicago,} he wrote while explaining she "decided to leave and realized she couldn’t do it on her own."

"She said MANY things you can’t take back that I won’t mention, you’ll have to trust me when I tell you, good luck," he added. Jonathan Rivera met Fernanda Flores at a club in Mexico while on vacation. He was 30 at the time and Fernanda was only 17 years old. He popped the question to the brunette beauty three months after they met and she moved to the United States to be with him. The duo tied the knot in May 2018.
