Bode Miller’s Wife Breaks Silence On Daughter’s Drowning: ‘It’s Been 37 Days Since I’ve Held My Baby’

It’s been over a month since Olympic skier Bode Miller and his wife lost their toddler in a drowning accident, and now Morgan is speaking out in a heartbreaking message and warning to other parents.

“It’s been 37 days since I’ve held my baby girl,” Bode’s wife started the post. “I pray to God no other parent feels this pain.”

Sharing a photo of their 19-month-old daughter, Emeline, bundled up in the snow, Morgan pushed the issue on drowning calling it “a silent killer.”

“Drowning is the NUMBER ONE cause of death in children ages 1-4. We talk about vaccinations, car seats, organic foods, screen time, etc at length…but not the number one risk your childrens’ lives face…a silent killer. It takes SECONDS,” she wrote.

As The Blast reported, Emeline died in June after drowning in their neighbor’s pool.
