Jeff Bezos may have found a great way to sway the conversation away from his love life by blasting a freakin' rocket into space!
The Amazon founder's aerospace company, Blue Origin, successfully completed its 10th flight of the New Shepard rocket on Wednesday, and also delivered 8 payloads for NASA to the edge of space.
The launch went down at Blue Origin's facility in the desert of West Texas, and sent a capsule past an altitude of more than 350,000 ft. The capsule contained experiments for NASA, including research for measuring vibrations during spaceflight.
The launch went according to plan, and even showcased the capsule successfully landing back on terra firma via parachute.
It's unclear if Lauren Sanchez' production company was filming the event, because as we reported, her relationship with Bezos became very intimate while filming projects for the aerospace company.
With the continued success of their space program, Blue Origin has announced they plan on flying humans to space as early as 2020.
