Orange! Purple! Yellow! Stars shed the black and white that dominated recent red carpets and went all out for Monday night’s “Black Panther” premiere.
Lupita Nyong’o, Donald Glover, Janelle Monae and Angela Bassett were just some of the many stars who rocked a bold color for the big night.
Reviews are embargoed until next week, but the people lucky enough to watch the film’s premiere couldn’t help but share their enthusiasm on social media.

Black Panther. So very good. I cheered and laughed and pumped my fist. I’ve never seen a super hero movie like it. Everybody involved with it deserves a medal and a high five.

BLACK PANTHER is not screwing around. By far the most political Marvel chapter, to the point I had to remind myself this is a Marvel movie. BLACK PANTHER is a movie with a lot to say.
Also, Michael B. Jordan … damn
