Asia Argento and Anthony Bourdain

CNN Pulls ‘Parts Unknown’ Episodes Featuring Asia Argento

Three episodes of “Parts Unknown” — two featuring appearances by Asia Argento and a third that she directed — have been pulled by CNN following allegations of sexual assault against the former girlfriend of Anthony Bourdain.

The three episodes are no longer available on CNN Go, the cable company’s streaming service, according to BuzzFeed News. A rep for CNN told the outlet, “In light of the recent news reports about Asia Argento, CNN will discontinue airing past episodes of ‘Parts Unknown’ that included her, until further notice.”

The two episodes Argento appeared in took place in Rome and Southern Italy, while the episode she directed took place in Hong Kong.

Asia Argento has denied allegations of sexual assault made against her by Jimmy Bennett, who claims the two had a sexual encounter when he was just 17 years old.

Last week, Argento was fired from her role on “X Factor Italy” but she will still appear in the initial episodes of the season because those have already been pre-taped.
