Arnold Schwarzenegger Is Feeling Better — But Not ‘Great’ — After Heart Surgery

Arnold Schwarzenegger is on the road to recovery after having heart surgery and is thanking fans for all their concern.

The Governator took to Twitter to post a video updating people on his progress. He expressed gratitude for the well-wishes, cards, phone calls and emails.

“You’re very kind,” he says in the video.

A few weeks ago, Schwarzenegger underwent surgery to have a heart valve replaced and says he’s feeling good … though he’s not back to being 100%.

“I just want you to know that I’m feeling much better,” the Gov said. “I can’t say even with my positive attitude that I’m great because I’m not great yet, great is a totally different level, but I’m good. I feel good.”

Schwarzenegger has been detailing his recovery since the surgery took place last month. He updated fans on Twitter shortly after, saying,  “I went to sleep expecting to wake up with a small incision and woke up with a big one – but guess what? I woke up, and that’s something to be thankful for. Thank you to the doctors & nurses. And I’m truly filled with gratitude for all of the kind messages.”
