Ariana Grande Disables Comments on Instagram After Fans Blame Her for Mac Miller’s Death

Ariana Grande turned off the comments on her Instagram page after receiving a slew of messages that blamed her for the death of Mac Miller.

After the news of Miller’s passing broke, Grande’s social media was flooded with messages — and while some fans supported the singer, several twisted people posted disgusting responses.

Grande disabled comments on her Instagram page but her Twitter page continues to receive hateful messages.

[UPDATE 3:24 PM PT — Ariana Grande seems to have turned her comments back on.]

“I literally grew up listening to Mac miller…” one fan wrote. “I’m so upset rn RIP to one of my favorite childhood artists 😢😢and one big fuck you to @ArianaGrande.”

Several messages were simply F-bombs hurled her way, while another read, “Smh its all @ArianaGrande fault.”

Ariana Grande confirmed her breakup with Mac Miller back in May, writing on her Instagram Story, “This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the planet. I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us!”

After his DUI arrest, Grande said she tried to support his sobriety for years but in the end, he just couldn’t “keep his shit together.”

In an interview in July, Miller said in an interview that he is “happy” for Ariana Grande and her engagement to Pete Davidson, even though he thinks “the whole thing is a little strange.”
