Angelina Jolie is in the middle of a police investigation after she was named in a nonsensical rant about possibly blowing up Los Angeles International airport, and we've learned even the FBI was contacted about the incident.
The Blast has learned the Los Angeles World Airport Police received eight emails the morning of Christmas Eve in 2016. The emails contained the words "BOMB" and "TNT" written multiple times, along with the repetitive naming of airlines like "UNITED AIRLINES," "QANTAS" and also repeatedly naming Angelina Jolie.
Jolie was traveling around the time of the threat, but it's unclear if the suspect had specific knowledge of her travel plans.
Authorities immediately contacted the FBI and launched a full scale investigation to track down the person responsible for the threats.
