After a report on Thursday saying that Rihanna declined to opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl LIII Halftime Show in support of Colin Kaepernick, the "Trainwreck" star called on Maroon 5 to the same.
Sharing the story on Instagram, the comedian wrote, "[W]ouldn’t it be so cool if @adamlevine and @maroon5 stepped down too? What do you guys think?"
While most of her fans supported the idea, at least one found the decision to try and shame Maroon 5 into stepping down to be wrong, saying, "[H]ow about everyone gets to decide how they feel about this issue without being bullied to conform."
The news that Maroon 5 would be the headlining act broke last month and there are rumors that Cardi B might make a guest appearance.
