Alicia Silverstone Files for Divorce from Chris Jarecki, Couple Had Been Separated for Two Years

3:45 PM: According to the documents, Silverstone actually listed the date of separation as March 15, 2016 just before their 11 year anniversary. She checked irreconcilable differences as the cause and requested both joint legal and physical custody of their 7-year-old son Bear.
She claims the couple has a prenuptial agreement in place to dictate spousal support, and the community property will be divided up after an evaluation of assets and debt.
Three months after announcing the two had split, Alicia Silverstone has officially pulled the trigger on ending her marriage to Chris Jarecki.
According to court records obtained by The Blast, Silverstone filed documents Friday afternoon before Memorial Day Weekend.
The two first started dating ni 1997 and married in 2005. When they split back in February, they released a statement that: "They still deeply love and respect each other and remain very close friends but have mutually decided to separate after being together for 20 years"
They have one one son, born in 2011.
