Lindsay Lohan's Mom Is Ordered To JAIL For DWI, And It's A Long Time!

Dina Lohan just pleaded guilty in her DWI case and has just been sentenced to time behind bars for the case.

According to the Nassau County District Attorney's office, Lindsay Lohan's mother is going to be spending some time in county jail after pleading guilty to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an incident without reporting it.

Shockingly, Dina will have to spend EIGHTEEN days in jail followed by five years of probation. As in many cases, she will also be forced to participate in a victim impact panel and take part in an alcohol education program.

As you know, Lohan was busted back in January after authorities claimed she t-boned another car outside of an Outback Steakhouse restaurant and left the scene of the accident. According to the complaint filed against Lohan, responding officers tracked Dina down at her Long Island home, where her Mercedes Benz was still running in the driveway.

Police officers confronted the reality star and claimed they detected a strong odor of alcohol on her breath. Plus, they said she had "glassy, bloodshot eyes." The report goes on to says that when Dina finally stepped out of the car, she was "unsteady" on her feet and took a nose-dive onto the ground. An officer on the scene says Dina claimed that he had pushed her, but then admitted to having wine at dinner.

At the time, Dina refused to submit to a breathalyzer test, but officers arrested her for driving under the influence anyways. She was booked on a total of 6 charges, which included leaving the scene of an accident causing property damage and other driving infractions connected to an expired registration and driving on a suspended license.

Dina Lohan's attorney -- Mark Heller -- responded to the allegations saying, "The arrest of Dina Lohan is most unfortunate. She was not evaluated for alcohol content in her blood at the time she was arrested. We have interposed a not guilty plea at her arraignment to all six charges. We look forward to attending court this Wednesday to fight the case. I was successful in getting her out without bail. She was released without bail by the judge."

It should be noted, one of the reasons for the jail time is that this isn't the first time Dina has been arrested for DWI.

Back in 2013, Lindsay Lohan's mother was pulled over by the New York State Police after driving 77 mph in 55 mph. During the traffic stop, cops claimed she looked intoxicated, and after she was tested it came back she was twice the legal limit for blood alcohol. Following the arrest, according to authorities, "Lohan made an allegation that she was injured during the course of the arrest" ... but when medical personnel arrived and determined she was fine, Dina "recanted her claim."

It's unclear when Dina is expected to turn herself in to start the 18-day stint, but let's just say it's not going to be fun.
