Keeping up with Caitlyn Jenner proves to be pretty easy these days, but social media isn’t taking kindly to her public and media appearances.
The former Olympian appeared on “The View” on Tuesday, September 28, to help co-host the daytime talk show.
Jenner joined Whoppi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines at the table to talk all things politics and her recent run for California governor.
During her appearance she said running for governor was “one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.”

“Honestly, I got into this race, because I love this country and I’m a patriot. The last straw was kind of, I saw what was happening at our border, and I was watching kids in cages, people dying trying to swim across, and you know what I said, ‘We’ve got to stand up,’” she explained.
.@Caitlyn_Jenner calls her run for California governor “one of the most rewarding experiences” and says she would run again after the recall failed: “I want to stay involved.”

Jenner explained she’d run for office again, because she wants to help people.
“I want to stay involved. It really opened my eyes to political life. It opened my eyes, but there’s other things I would like to do and that is, one is to try and get the Republican party to be more inclusive. Obviously, I’ve always been on the Republican side, because I have conservative economic values, because they’ve always worked. Less government, less regulations. Socially, I’m much more progressive,” Jenner noted.
Haines and Hostin both took issue with the staunch Republican calling her political party ‘inclusive.’

After her co-hosting appearance, her name began trending on Twitter, and let’s just say it was not for being a “outstanding” co-host.
“Watching Caitlyn Jenner on #TheView is a joke. Why are they trying to make her relevant,” one person tweeted.
Another person wrote, “Sorry, I tried, but Caitlyn Jenner is so clueless I changed the channel #TheView.”
Others didn’t agree with Jenner’s statement of being a “patriot” and “the poster child for change.
“Why is @TheView giving Caitlyn Jenner a platform? She’s a moron & embarrassment to everyone especially the LGBTQ+ community. She’s been using the Republican talking points to try & win & lost HORRIBLY. Now she’s saying the complete opposite to try to save face,” this annoyed viewer wrote.
