Eminem has an exciting new business venture in Detroit!
In a report by People, Marshall Bruce Mathers III, also known professionally as Eminem or Slim Shady, is set to open a new restaurant called Mom's Spaghetti, located in downtown Detroit.
Inspired By His Popular Track
According to the outlet, the name was probably derived from the 48-year-old rapper's 2002 Oscar and Grammy-winning single, "Lose Yourself."
As per the lyrics: "His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy. There's vomit on his sweater already, mom's spaghetti."
Eminem actually made the food concept back in 2017. He opened a pop-up shop of Mom's Spaghetti at a popular Detroit music venue, The Shelter. At the time, he was promoting the release of his album, Revival.

The record producer also sent plastic containers back in April filled with prepared spaghetti for frontline workers at Henry Ford and DMC hospitals as a way of thanking them for helping those in need during the then-emerging coronavirus crisis.
“We’ve had a lot of fun putting this project together with the folks at Union Joints, and the response from fans has been overwhelmingly positive," Eminem's manager, Paul Rosenberg, said in a statement. “The previous pop-ups were really a test for us to determine whether there was enthusiasm for a regularly-occurring Mom’s Spaghetti spot that would be open all year long."
