Chrissy Teigen wants to kick it old school on social media, and ignore the “perfection” standards that come with it!
To which we say…
The former Sports Illustrated model has recently gotten more candid with her followers after a very difficult Spring/Summer.
If you don’t remember, Chrissy was put in the “Cancel Club” for cyberbullying Courtney Stodden back in the mid-2000s.
At the time of ‘entering’ the ‘club,’ she wrote on Instagram, “iiii don’t really know what to say here…just feels so weird to pretend nothing happened in this online world but feel like utter shit in real life. Going outside sucks and doesn’t feel right, being at home alone with my mind makes my depressed head race.”

She continued, “Cancel club is a fascinating thing and I have learned a whollllle lot. Only a few understand it and it’s impossible to know til you’re in it. And it’s hard to talk about it in that sense because obviously you sound whiney when you’ve clearly done something wrong. It just sucks. There is no winning. But there never is here anyhow.”
In addition to getting her “Cancel Club membership card,” Chrissy and her husband, John Legend, lost their French bulldog, Pippa.
The passing of her dog came LITERALLY one day after she posted her feelings about ‘CC.’
And if you thought her 2021 couldn’t get any worse, the “Lip Sync Battle” co-host recently opened up about her body being ‘stuck’ after losing her third child nearly one year ago.

To say it’s been a year of ups and downs would be an understatement.
However, things seem to be looking up for the “Cravings” author.
In a way, it finally appears she’s getting her groove back.
On Monday, September 27, the mother-of-two posted a very REAL and unedited photo of herself to her IG timeline.

In the photo of herself with her eyes closed and half a smile on her face she wrote, “I really think you guys are too conditioned to seeing perfect photos all day because so many of my comments on any given photo are “why would she post this” or “i love you girl but this is not flattering”, to which I say, who cares?? a lot of the time, makeup artists and hair stylists will ask if photos are good enough to post and my reply is always the same: I honestly don’t care.”
“Post whatever. I dunno. I just don’t care about curating my Instagram to be perfection. Im a mess,
I’m chaotic and this shall always reflect that, thank u!! Love, a Sagittarius,” she ended her note.
Clearly, her famous friends were living for the brutal honesty and fully support this movement.
Vanessa Hudgens commented, “I see u sag sis ❤️.”
Kim Kardashian’s good friend, Steph Shep, wrote, “I feel this the idea of constant perfection is exhausting let’s get back to the good ol days where we post our food using a Valencia filter and white border without a care in the world.”
And David Lopez added that he’s got plenty of content of Chrissy to prove this point!
All in favor of just snapping a pic and throwing it on social media, say ‘I.’
