Britney Spears' lawyer is making shocking allegations that her father, Jamie Spears, secretly recorded her inside of her private bedroom as a measure of "security."

According to new legal documents, the 'Toxic' singer's legal team claims her dad and other "cohorts" secretly "captured audio recording of Britney's bedroom, including private communications with her children." Obviously, this is being pointed out as part of a push to have Spears' dad removed from the conservatorship.

The stunning allegations come on the heels of a bombshell report that Jamie hired security to secretly record his famous daughter without her permission. In the filing, the lawyer says Jamie "engaged in horrifying and unconscionable invasions of his adult daughter's privacy."

Britney's attorney, Matthew Rosengart, cited the reporting saying, "Specifically, the Times reported that he and

others ‘ran an intense surveillance apparatus that monitored [Ms. Spears’s] communications’ and also evidently captured attorney-client communications with her prior lawyer, which communications are a sacrosanct part of the legal system."

As we reported, Rosengart is now representing Britney in the conservatorship case and has filed documents to remove Jamie Spears from the case completely. The pop star appeared in a prior hearing in the case, pointing out several astonishing allegations including the forced her to take birth control and forced her to perform in Las Vegas.

He continued, "Placing a listening device in Britney’s bedroom would be particularly horrifying and corroborates so much of her compelling, poignant testimony. Mr. Spears has crossed unfathomable lines.”

In the documents, it points out that Britney lives in California and it is a "two-party" consent state. The law essentially says that anyone who is recording someone else -- like on a phone call -- must have the approval or consent from the other party before recording them. In other words, Britney being recorded in her private bedroom could be considered a crime.

"As a result of these deeply disturbing allegations, Mr. Spears will inevitably be focused over the next several days and weeks on defending his own interests, not his daughter’s (yet again)," Rosengart wrote.

Shockingly, the documents point out that Jamie might invoke the Fifth Amendment at his deposition because he won't want to incrimination himself with answers. In other words, it seems Britney's team believes a crime WAS committed. "Even assuming Mr. Spears was to invoke the Fifth Amendment at his deposition, there are questions he still would be required to answer, which would inform the Court’s decisions on these accounting and financial issues at an evidentiary hearing in the future," Rosengart wrote.

He continued, "Relatedly, the mere invocation of the Fifth Amendment would be highly illuminating and would also permit the Court or jury to draw an adverse inference based upon that invocation.”
