Sam Asghari is sick and tired of seeing his future wife, Britney Spears, talked about and documented in the media.

Despite Britney dealing with the press, bad headlines, and paparazzi for decades, it’s now hitting harder for her fiancé.

Netflix is releasing a NEW documentary about Britney’s 13-year-long conservatorship titled, “Britney vs Spears.”

This film comes after the critically acclaimed New York Times’ “Framing Britney Spears” documentary which was released in February.

It also comes on the coattails of the singer’s shocking June 23rd virtual appearance with a Los Angeles County judge where she revealed the hell on earth she’s been subjected to since the conservatorship was put in place.

As The Blast previously reported, the 'Slave 4 U' singer said she feels the conservatorship is ‘abusive,’ it’s not allowed her to get married or conceive due to an IUD she was forced to have put her body, among a plethora of very other unsettling admissions.

Over the weekend, he took to social media to explain the documentaries have left a “bad aftertaste.”

"Apparently my opinion has increased in value over last few days. Past docs left bad after taste. I'm hopeful this one will be respectful. I don't blame CNN, BBC or Netflix (which got me thru lockdowns) for airing them because, as an actor, I tell other people's stories too," he wrote on his Instagram Story Friday.

Sam added, "I question producers who made them 'just to shed light' without input or approval from subject.”

In addition to his IG Story, he also shared a clip from the Hulu and FX documentary “Controlling Britney Spears,” in which the singer's former assistant Felicia Culotta offered the star a sweet message of love.

He added a sad face and red heart emoji.

Not only did Sam propose to his ‘Lioness,’ but Jamie announced a few days prior to their engagement that he would petition to end Britney’s conservatorship.

According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Jamie agreed to step aside in her ongoing conservatorship case but wants to make sure the transition is done in an orderly way. Of course, Mr. Spears isn’t going down without a bit of a fight and is pointing out that there are “no actual grounds” for removing him as conservator.

As of Tuesday, September 7, Jamie filed a petition to end the arrangement.

The court filing reads, "Recent events related to this conservatorship have called into question whether circumstances have changed to such an extent that grounds for the establishment of a conservatorship may no longer exist.”

"Ms. Spears has told this Court that she wants control of her life back without the safety rails of a conservatorship. She wants to be able to make decisions regarding her own medical care, deciding when, where and how often to get therapy. She wants to control the money she has made from her career and spend it without supervision or oversight. She wants to be able to get married and have a baby, if she so chooses. In short, she wants to live her life as she chooses without the constraints of a conservator or court proceeding," the petition states in parts.

The filing continued, "As Mr. Spears has said again and again, all he wants is what is best for his daughter. If Ms. Spears wants to terminate the conservatorship and believes that she can handle her own life, Mr. Spears believes that she should get that chance.”
