Britney Spears May Sit Down With Oprah Winfrey for No-Holds-Barred Interview

Britney Spears is considering an Oprah Winfrey one-on-one conversation after being inspired by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's openness in their recent interview. She is expecting to talk about her life, how the conservatorship felt like and how she feels now, after its successful injunction.

Britney was impressed by Oprah's handling of the royal interview, according to the Mirror. “While Spears does have a lot of interview requests, she specifically wants to do an interview with Oprah”, one of her team members mentioned. As reciprocation should work, Oprah and her team are thrilled to have Britney Spears on board to bring attention to issues that are important to her.

Oprah Winfrey's interviewing skills left the 'Princess of Pop' speechless. She admired the way it was done, with Megan discussing her difficulties as a member of the Royal Family. Owing to the same, she decided to bring her story to life by talking about a very private aspect of her own life. Britney’s decision is not out of the blue. Her journey has been rather unusual. She was put under temporary conservatorship of her father, Jamie Spears in February 2008, which became permanent in September the same year.

The conservatorship came into action after a very public breakdown surrounding the American star. However, according to recent filings, Britney and her team feel that the grounds for the conservatorship no longer exist. In that case, it is only fair to put Spears back in control of her life, where she can enjoy and succeed without constant court proceedings and statements. In a proceeding in July 2021, Britney told the court that she wants to be able to make and spend money on her own terms, without the restrictions of conservatorship, now that she thinks she is back on her feet.

According to the filing, Britney wants to be able to spend her money, get married, have children, and live her life as her sole individual, in whatever way she chooses. She does not want any pre-determined foundations narrowing her choices down now that she feels more than capable of sitting in the driver’s seat of her very own life.

As a father would do, Mr. Spears does not have any objections to her daughter being able to live her life as the independent young woman that she is. According to sources, he feels that if Britney thinks she can handle her life and make choices that would ultimately keep her happy and make her proud, then she should be given an unapologetic chance to do the same.

The end of the conservatorship was a success for both the American singer and her team, who had been constantly trying for years to bring about what could be called a significant change in the talented songwriter’s life. After a long and tiresome fight, James finally stepped aside on August 2021, meaning Britney is now a free woman with no restrictions or resistances whatsoever.
