'Riverdale' Star KJ Apa & Girlfriend Clara Berry Welcome Baby Son!

Keneti James Fitzgerald Apa, better known as KJ Apa, can now officially add father to his resume!

The 24-year-old Riverdale star welcomed his first child with his girlfriend, Clara Berry.

The 27-year-old French model announced the birth of their son in an Instagram post on Sunday, September 26. According to her, she actually gave birth a few days ago.

"Sasha Vai Keneti Apa, born on the 23rd of September," Berry wrote in the caption. "He is a perfect perfection. I am the luckiest to have now two men of my life, filling my heart with this cosmic gigantic vast love. ❤️‍?"

The new share included a photo of the baby’s tiny hand, gripping one of his mom's fingers.

Many of their friends, including Apa's Riverdale co-stars' expressed their excitement via the comment section.

"Congrats mama!!!!" Madelaine Petsch wrote.

"Can’t wait to meet him ?❤️ congratulations ❤️❤️❤️," Lili Reinhart also commented.

"Congratulations beautiful!! I can’t wait to meet this sweet boy," Rumer Willis added.

Tallulah Willis also jumped in the comments and wrote, "AHHHHHH MY PETIT PRINCE!!!"

Cole Sprouse's lady love, Ari Fournier, also sent a note: "Cutest little angel ? Welcome to the world Sasha."

"River’s new bestie!! #boymom," Vanessa Morgan noted, referring to her son who was born in January 2021.

Unsurprisingly, the new share gathered in hundreds of thousands of likes, achieving over 427,000 in less than 24 hours of posting.

Apa, on the other hand, reposted Berry's birth announcement to his Instagram Stories. He also gave his baby mama a special shoutout while promoting his new album last Friday.

“@clara.berry for taking my love for you to another dimension this week,” the I Still Believe actor wrote.

Recently, Apa took to his social media page and posted a video thanking his fans for the support of his new album. He also addressed the birth of his son in the clip, saying that the baby and is "doing good," his girlfriend is doing "amazing."

On his post, fans and friends congratulated Apa for his new album and his newborn.

In May, the musician shared the pregnancy news on Instagram by posting a personal photo of Berry exposing her pregnant belly while sitting next to him on the couch. It had no caption, but the picture said it all.

Berry also confirmed the news by posting part of her full maternity photoshoot done by the talented Hart Denton to her Instagram page, tagging Apa on her belly. She captioned her post with a chef emoji.

“She’s pregnant btw,” Apa commented on her post, to which Berry responded, “We are.”

Dating rumors of the pair started in late 2019 after they were spotted engaging with each other on social media. Eagle-eyed fans spotted them liking each other's Instagram photos. Apa made his relationship with Berry Instagram official in 2020 by posting a PDA-filled snapshot, which has since been deleted.
