Alexis Ohanian is full of admiration and love for his “incomparable” wife, Serena Williams, as he shared a touching tribute to the star on her 40th birthday.
The American internet entrepreneur took to Instagram with a black and white photo of him and the celebrant, dressed in formal outfits and staring lovingly into each other’s eyes. Ohanian captioned his upload with,
“✨ The incomparable @serenawilliams – grateful for every minute I get with my amazing wife & Olympia’s mama”.
The post was met with lots of warm wishes from fans and celebrity friends, including businesswoman Loren Ridinger who commented, “Love you both,” with a red heart emoji.
Love And Support
Ohanian and Williams got married in New Orleans on November 16, 2017. They share a 4-year-old daughter Olympia born on September 1, 2017, in West Palm Beach, Florida.
In May, it was reported that the “Reddit” co-founder praised the 23-time Grand Slam singles winner for her ability to balance family life and work in an interview with “CBS This Morning.”

Ohanian credited his wife for teaching him that taking time to “reset and recharge” is necessary. Williams excels at “shutting it off and focusing on family time and personal time.”
The tennis superstar spoke on married life during a March episode of the “Bumble’s The Question Game,” saying, “marriage is not bliss, but it can be if you work at it.”
The mother-of-one also spoke on motherhood, revealing that she always knew she wanted kids at some point but never knew when she would realize that wish.
The 40-year-old ended her time on the segment by sharing what she learned about love. She described emotion as “amazing” and a “special thing” for those lucky to feel it.
Life as Parents
In July 2020, Williams gave PEOPLE a peek into her home life with her daughter, explaining that every day, Olympia dresses her and Ohanian. The amused mother added,
“She’ll set up before bed what we need to wear in the morning…. She always tells me to [wear] heels. She’s currently wearing heels.”
The icon and her mini wardrobe manager have often been seen twinning on social media.
The two can be seen on William’s official Instagram page, serving cuteness in matching Disney Princess costumes and tennis outfits.
The star expressed they even have themed pajamas as her daughter immediately wants to change into whatever she wears, adding, “so we’re twins.”
Williams’ Critical Injuries
In August, The Blast reported that the tennis player withdrew from the US Open due to a leg injury.
Williams announced via Instagram, explaining that after careful consideration and the advice of her medical team, she would withdraw from the competition until her torn hamstring heals.
The 40-year-old was also forced to pull out of Wimbledon in June due to another leg injury, but the “extraordinary warmth and support of the crowd” cheered her up.
