The Royal Family has a long history of speaking out on global issues, and Prince Charles is no exception. The Prince of Wales teamed up with Amazon Prime Video to discuss the environmental crisis, and hope to reach a broader audience with his environmentalist message.
Royalties Standing Up For A Royal Environment
According to an online interview with Charles, who has also served as the editor-in-chief of RE: TV, he has always worked hard to help people see how their everyday skills can be connected to environmental protection. The goal, according to him, is to make climate change and the solutions available to as many organizations as possible. He mentions that the channel aims on letting more organizations in on understanding climate change and the ways they can tackle it.

Amazon Prime For Sustainability
“RE: TV was set up to capture the will and imagination of humanity to put together the most sustainable options from and for around the world”, said the royal member. On talking about why he thought pairing with a streaming platform will help with reaching out to mass populations, he said he realized the impact the streaming platforms have on the world. “I hope that this partnership with Amazon Prime Video will bring innovative ideas to a wider audience and demonstrate the possibilities of a sustainable environment”; added the 72-year-old concerned Charles.
He goes on to elaborate on what the channel would communicate in terms of sustainability, greener solutions, and recycling. “From recycling coffee to receding forest, the film highlights projects from across the world on how businesses have adapted to making a cleaner and more sustainable economy and how they can continue to do so”, said Charles’ spokesperson.
Hope For The Future
According to Charles, it is essential to address the climate crisis and environmental degradation before it is too late. Charles firmly believes that if businesses, organizations, and governments from all over the world would come together to develop economies that are based on the green revolution and work by eradicating all means of earth exploitation, then sustainability is achievable. To everyone’s surprise, Charles said “The fine tapestry of life is the greatest marvel of the universe”, which brings across just how accurately he understands the concept and importance of sustainability.

Concern For Generations To Come
“We must urgently reverse the exploitation of the natural world if it is to sustain us for generations to come. The time is long overdue to put nature at the center of our economic model”, said Charles. According to research and recent studies, it has been determined that within the next few years, we would have passed the point of ‘no return’. This means that beyond that, it would be impossible to reverse the damage that civilizations would have inflicted upon the planet. As scary as that sounds, Charles remained optimistic and said, “We have the right minds and the right technology in our hands. We know what we must do.”
The Time Is Now
Charles advocates for using global energy and intentions in the same direction, for accomplishing the same end goal-sustainability. Concluding what could be conveniently referred to as a very researched, detail-oriented, and motivating speech, he says that he knows the people of the world have got in themselves to reverse the damage and prevent all the horrors that climate change would bring about.
“There is hope, but we’ve got to get our act together. And we’ve got to remember: the world is what sustains us.”, is what he said and bought an end to one of the finest conversations.
