Harry Potter's Tom Felton Collapses At Ryder Cup Exhibition Golf Tourney

Although injuries on the golf course actually happen more often than most people realize, "Harry Potter’s" Tom Felton – aka Draco Malfoy – was at the center of the drama when he collapsed mid-round. While playing in the celebrity event before the big Ryder Cup tournament at Whistling Straits Golf Course in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Felton collapsed on the 18th green and had to be helped by medical professionals.
What We Know So Far

Information on Felton’s condition has been hard to come by. However, the images from the event suggest that something serious was taking place. Pictures have surfaced of Felton having trouble staying on his feet. Luckily, around the 18th green, there were more staff members of tournament staff on there to help. Felton was put on a golf cart and potentially taken to the nearest medical facility. At the time of his collapse, he was playing with laying with former NHL star Teemu Selänne, 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team captain Mike Eurzione and retired speed skater Dan Jansen,

Hopefully, It’s Just Some Dehydration
We don’t want to take the situation lightly. Particularly with how absolutely scary the pictures of Felton going down are. That being said, hopefully this is just a case of Felton feeling dehydrated, and potentially a little hungover. The reason why we are throwing this out as a possibility is because Felton has been quite busy celebrating his 34th birthday he wrote on an IG post,
"33 years done - good lord it's been so much fun getting here - yet, somehow, I still feel the best is yet to come - thank you all for your love, support & sense of humour - let's keep a good thing going - to the next 33 xx."
Will More Updates Be Coming?
There’s no indication as to whether or not updates are going to be coming on Felton’s condition. This is certainly an unsettling fact for fans. Golf Digest who broke the story have not provided much information on Felton’s current status. The official Ryder Cup Twitter page has essentially carried on as if nothing had happened. That could be a sign that Felton’s condition is not serious. The event essentially is carrying on as usual. With Felton’s situation sadly being somewhat ignored by tournament officials.
Returning To The Potter Franchise
Many child actors go on to resent the roles that they played when they were kids. Such is the case of Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe. He mentioned rather recently that for years he could not stand watching himself on the screen as the boy who lived. Felton on the other hand has embraced his role as Draco Malfoy. In fact, he’s embraced the fact that people are going to remember him for that. Saying in a recent appearance,
“If you're asking me will I dye my hair blonde again to be Draco, abso-bloody-lutely. Either [him or Lucius]. I'll play Draco's kid if you really want!" he said. "Any chance to be a Malfoy again would be greatly accepted."
