Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's back and forth over their joint French property Chateau Miraval has finally come to an end!

While the divorce battle over their kids' custody is still on, the estranged couple reached a consensus over their $164 million vineyard. According to recent documents obtained by TMZ, a judge agreed for Jolie to sell her half of the property to a third party.

The judge signed off on a joint agreement prepared by the couple to lift the initial restraining order placed on the property. The gag was placed on the vineyard early in the divorce proceedings to prevent the transfer of assets by either party.

But, it seems the former couple was able to see eye-to-eye on this matter. However, the publication noted that while the court order seems like a legal victory, it might be challenging for Jolie to sell the property because of legal proceedings involving her LLC, Nouvel, in Europe.

Back in July, the "Eternals" actress filed a lawsuit asking for the gag over the winery to be lifted after a failed attempt to get her ex-husband to agree on a buyout of her own share for over two years.

The couple who owned shares of the vineyard and wine business before getting married became equal owners when Pitt transferred 10% out of his 60% share to add to Jolie's 40%. After a failed negotiation with the "Fight Club" actor, Jolie decided to take her shares to a third party, and that was when problems began.

The recent settlement between the former couple comes on the heels of Pitt dragging his ex-wife to court for trying to cut him out of a lucrative deal as regards the winery.

The Blast previously reported the news of Pitt filing a lawsuit in Luxemburg on September 21, accusing Jolie of using malicious means to sell the winery behind his back. His lawyers accused Jolie's LLC Nouvel of not acting in Chateau's best interest.

The suit claimed that Nouvel failed to approve annual accounts and renew the manager, with sources close to the duo claiming that Jolie was trying to break the rules as usual.

The insider added that Pitt was responsible for doing all the work to build the vineyard and wine business while Jolie was trying to reap the fruits of his labor.

Jolie and Pitt, who ended their marriage in 2016, and became legally separated in 2019, have been at loggerheads over the custody of their kids. Although Pitt was given joint custody of their five underaged kids in May, things are still far from amicable between the exes.
