Steve Harvey Gives Praise For Michael B. Jordan's Efforts In His Relationship With His Daughter, Lori

Lori Harvey and Michael B. Jordan have been public as a couple, since January. Their initial announcement consisted of Instagram posts, where they were all smiles, and shared beautiful photos by a large Christmas tree. The two were linked for months though, as MBJ and Harvey were spotted landing in Atlanta, for Thanksgiving. They were also seen in Salt Lake City, for a snow trip, as they also spent New Year's Day there.

Lori appeared on "The Real" this week, where she spoke highly of MBJ, during the course of their relationship. She commended the actor for being able to make her feel important, especially with what she says.

“Honestly, he’s really good at all the big things, Valentine’s Day, birthdays, all that,” Harvey said. “But it’s the little things, the everyday things that I think really is what makes him special … he just listens to me when I talk. I had just been saying I really just wanted to go to a farmer’s market. So he called me Sunday morning … and he took me an hour away to this really cute farmer’s market and we had the best day.”

Lori's father, the world-famous Steve Harvey, has been a fan of MBJ in this relationship for a while, as well. In a new interview with PEOPLE, the TV host expressed the qualities he loves most about MBJ and also loves the type of family that he comes from. Steve was also impressed with the spiritual side that the actor possesses.

"I don't speak publicly about this type of stuff, but I'm happy for my daughter right now. I really am," Harvey explained "It's the first time I've been happy for her [in a relationship]. And it's the first time she's been happy... He's just a good guy. If he wasn't, get him out of here, 'cause I have ways. But I can't say anything bad, man. He's just got a great family, man. He's a spiritual guy."

Lori trended heavily for her dating life, last year, as well. For most of the year, she was dating Future, who remains one of the most popular rappers out. Fans of Lori were not too pleased with this, due to Future's track record regarding women and relationships. They were concerned that the Atlanta rapper would end up having a child with Lori as well, and how Lori needed someone better. When she went public with Michael B. Jordan, the approval of her love life became much better, online. Lori and Future ended up splitting at the end of summer 2020. As the fall started to begin, that's when the speculation of if she had begun starting to date MBJ, started to really surface on social media. Now, the couple is almost a year in, and seem happier than ever.
