Real people are often angels. And you can certainly say that about these "Lucifer" actors. Over the years these talented people have been involved in a variety of worthwhile endeavors. Here are just a few of their good-hearted efforts to make the planet a better place:
Tom Ellis & Lesley-Ann Brandt Allied For The Arts
Tom Ellis (Lucifer) and Lesley-Ann Brandt (Mazikeen) participated in a special dinner in support of the not-for-profit American Friends of Covent Garden (AFoCG), which promotes connections between the United States and England. It brings together people from all around the world to enjoy the arts with performances of opera and ballet at the Royal Opera House in London. AFoCG also does more through outreach and education programs of The Royal Opera and The Royal Ballet. These two actors are part of the arts and artists making a more beautiful world.
Lauren German, Rachael Harris, D.B. Woodside & Co, Community & Commitment
Lauren German (Chloe) and Rachael Harris (Linda Martin) hosted a Grace Rose Foundation Fashion Show Fundraiser that supports children's programs, mental health programs and research for a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. Tom Ellis, D.B. Woodside (Amenadiel) and Aimee Garcia (Ella Lopez) also attended the annual event that featured a fashion runway show, as well as an auction, awards for people who bring awareness to the disease and special performances for entertainment. Fashion, fundraising and finding a cure are the forward-thinking and fun ways these actors and this foundation try to help people with Cystic Fibrosis lead full lives.
Rachael Harris also supports United Cerebral Palsy's mission and her advocacy has helped raise millions of dollars for education and therapy programs.
Tom Ellis, Elegance & Empathy
Tom Ellis fashioned an association with Rupert and Buckley, a British clothing brand that created a sustainable apparel collection, for some sartorial splendor, to raise money for the Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Also, this dapper devil distinguished himself as the ambassador for this hospital's charity. Debonair Tom has delighted fans dashing around Heaven, Hell and Earth. GOSH, golly and goodness gracious, he's glorious!
Aimee Garcia, Geek Girl, Wonder Woman
Aimee Garcia knows how to play ball on and off the golf course, as well as in the Lucifer lab. She took her exuberant Ella energy and played in the Positive Lives Achieved Through Education and Sports (P.L.A.T.E.S.) Celebrity Charity Golf Classic. She branched into and grew support for programs like STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) for girls and women, focusing on education and mentoring. Well, that pretty much spells it out regarding some of the deeply rooted things she desires most.
Kevin Alejandro, Big Bro
Kevin Alejandro (Dan Espinoza) participated in the Disney-sponsored Time for Heroes Celebrity Picnic for the benefit of the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. He also used his strength to support his sister in her cancer journey and on August 28, 2021, Kevin announced on his Twitter page, "She is currently cancer-free and all of her test results keep showing up great!!" He definitely does a Dan-dy job acting like a big brother for the young folks!
Leslie-Ann Brandt & Scarlett Estevez Care Like Demons
Leslie-Ann Brandt set up her exclusive #CareLikeADemon merchandise and she and Scarlett Estevez (Trixie) donated all proceeds to charity. D.B. Woodside gave a shout-out of support on his Twitter to lend an angel's assistance to the demon deals.
Is A Super Man
Tom Welling (Marcus Pierce), a pro-celebrity competitive golfer, plays for worthy causes to raise money for foundations like Melanoma Research and SAG-AFTRA. It's a win-win all around. Tom (Lucifer's Cain) is definitely a very able and superman. And charity work suits him to a tee.
Tricia Helfer Gives Back...
Tricia Helfer (Charlotte Richards) believes in giving back by supporting a variety of charities from hunger and homelessness to health and children. You might wonder when she has time for acting! She's also obviously an animal lover because various animal humane societies are dear to her heart. She's purr-fect.
Inbar Lavi Dishes On Food Charity & Orange You Apple-solutely Glad She's In Lucifer
Inbar Lavi, as Eve on Lucifer, may have had a half baked idea and gone bananas, resulting in a problematic relationship with an apple, getting her into quite a pickle, yet she gives us all food for thought, by working hard as a performer, for her bread and butter job as an actor, to bring home the bacon. But in her off time, she's no couch potato. One of her charitable activities is volunteering at Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles in LA, CA. Her commitment and efforts there bear fruit to feed people. She's cool as a cucumber and the salt of the earth. We think she's the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Three Newbies On Lucifer, But Old Hands At Charity Work
New to the series but not new to charity work are Scott Porter (Carol Corbett), Brianna Hildebrand (Rory) and Merrin Dungey (Officer Harris).
Scott Porter, Champion Advocate
In the show, Scott Porter, as a detective, is a champion of justice. Outside the show, he and his wife Kelsey are champion advocates, of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America, for the awareness and funds they have raised. They were even honored for the support they have given.
Brianna Hildebrand Is A Class Act
Brianna Hildebrand has been involved with the Stan Lee Foundation which provides resources and services to promote literacy. As Lucifer's new kid on the block, so to speak, it seems very appropriate for her to be associated with reading, writing and 'rithmetic.
Good Deeds In Merrin Dungey's Universe
Once Upon A Time, Merrin Dungey (Alias Officer Harris) said "any good that I can put into the universe I'm all for it" and she belonged to a group that did a good deed every day for 100 days. On-screen, in Lucifer, she plays the cop, who is also The Resident from the 'hood, who works to keep young kids safer on the street. Off-screen she wants to be The Fix for kids, hunger and education. Whether on-screen or off she doesn't want to Curb Your Enthusiasm or hers for helping. She wants to have a Deep Impact on the world. These are not Big Little Lies, they're not even little lies. She sure is Some Kind of Beautiful.
Dennis Haysbert's Sky High Standards
OMG, let's not forget Dennis Haysbert (God). From Masters of the Universe to...well, Master of the Universe. He's involved with 12 charities and foundations (from kids to culture) and 15 causes (from education to environment). It all adds up to prove Dennis has mastered the art and heart of charity work.
Tom Ellis Has A Dreamy Voice
And if you ever dreamily wished someone would read you a bedtime story just get your bunny slippers and favorite pillow and cuddle up with Tom Ellis' CBeebies Bedtime Stories. It's warm milk and cookies without the calories.
Heavenly Helpers, Kind Caring
These are just a few little devil's food tidbits for our souls about how good people do good things.
The cast of Lucifer certainly has had their devilishly delicious hot bodies and warm hearts in the right places, wanting to help people. They accomplish a lot and seem to have a helluva good time doing it.
Thank you!
