A Nervous Bill Gates Finally Admits Jeffrey Epstein Connection

Bill Gates' personal life had always remained a bit obscure. Although he was the richest man in the world for many years straight, and he was the head of potentially the most influential company of its time Bill managed to keep a low profile. All things considered of course. This year though, since he announced that he would be divorcing his long-time wife Melinda, his personal life was all of a sudden fair game. Shady ghosts from his past started peeking their ugly heads back into his life. Particularly, the ghost of one Jeffrey Epstein!
The Connection Between Gates-Epstein & His Divorce
Around the time that Bill Gates announced that he was ending things with Melinda speculation grew about the catalyst that led to the split. There’s one theory that says Gates had been having an affair with a Microsoft staffer for years. That affair essentially was what led him to resign from his role as CEO of Microsoft. The affair was potentially not something that Melinda would smile about. However, it was the continued relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, even after he had been found guilty of soliciting prostitution from minors.
Bill Admits To Having The Meetings
In the past, Bill Gates had more or less sidestepped the issue of having meetings with Jeffrey Epstein. Saying that when those meetings took place he wasn’t aware of what Epstein was involved in. Recently in a sit down with PBS Newshour he was forced to come clean about his encounters with Epstein he said on the matter,
“You know, I had dinners with him … I’ve said I regretted having those dinners. And there’s nothing, absolutely nothing new on that,”
However, the interviewer was not about to let Bill off the hook so easily. By the way, as he is saying all of this he can be seen removing a ring from his finger and nervously twirling his hands.
What Brought Bill Gates & Epstein Together
Bill still a very nervous wreck at this point in the conversation brings up the reason why he was meeting with Epstein in the first place. In a sense trying to justify why he was having dinners with a person who had been found guilty of such serious crimes. Bill mentions,
“He had relationships with people he said, you know, would give to global health, which is an interest I have,” He would then go on to say, “Those meetings were a mistake. They didn’t result in what he purported and I cut them off,”
Nothing Happened That Fast
Gates wanted to make it sound like he only had a few meetings with Epstein and nothing came from them. However, anchor Judy Woodruff wasn’t ready to end the conversation. She pressed Bill saying that she knew the meetings went on for several years. The interview got so uncomfortable that Bill literally said,
“Well, he’s dead, so …,”
That was essentially Bill’s last-ditch effort to end an overly uncomfortable situation for him. At the end of it although it seems that the Gates-Epstein relationship was closer than Bill has ever let on. Were they as close as Epstein and Prince Andrew? At least Bill isn’t facing legal issues regarding sexual assault and those big problems Prince Andrew finds himself in.
