British TV host, Ant Anstead, told the world he is full of gratitude for his girlfriend of four months, Renée Zellweger.
The TV personality first met the Oscar-winning actress while shooting an episode of “Celebrity IOU: Joyride,” a program he enjoys hosting.
The father-of-three told PEOPLE of his relationship, which he made Instagram official this month that there was no hiding the fact that he and Zellweger are a couple.
Full Of Thanks For His New Beau
The car expert expressed his gratitude to the show, which gave him the fantastic opportunity for his world to collide with that of his current partner.
Anstead accorded the privacy regarding his relationship with the actress to the need for less pressure early on in their dating life.
News of the motor specialist’s romance with the “Bridget Jones” star broke in late June, days after his divorce from “HGTV” icon Christin Haack whom he shares two-year-old son, Hudson.
Anstead also fathered a 15-year-old son, Archie, and a 17-year-old daughter, Amelie, from his first marriage to Louise Anstead.
In August, the lovebirds were each other’s dates at a gala event hosted by Radford Motors. A source told PEOPLE their relationship is serious, and they share a mutual attraction.
Zellweger has also bonded with Hudson, Anstead’s youngest son, during their time spent together. Another source said,
“They do beach outings, go for ice cream, and other child-friendly activities. They’re spending most of their time together in Laguna Beach since Ant lives there, and they seem very happy.”
Making It Instagram Official
Despite being an unlikely pair, the new couple has bonded over similar interests.
The Blast reported that the car builder and his partner were first spotted hanging out in Orange County, California, but their relationship was unconfirmed until Anstead made it official.
He uploaded a cozy black and white selfie with the singer on date night. The picture was not captioned. Zellweger was not tagged as she has no Instagram profile.
Anstead’s “Wheelers Dealers” co-host, Mike Brewer, commented “Boom” with an explosion and heart emojis.
The post was well-received by other celebrity friends, including his co-host Cristy Lee who was present when the couple met. Lee commented, “You two,” with smiley and heart emojis.

Anstead’s Divorce From Haack
In June, The Blast made it known that court documents retrieved show Christina Haack filed a divorce from Anstead in the Orange County Courts.
Their divorce was quickly finalized due to prenup measures put in place. The split was uncontested on both ends, and the two share joint custody over their son.
Haack, who had been working towards settling the divorce for a long time, finally gained some closure after selling her family home in Newport Beach, California.
The house, to which her ex relinquished all rights, was sold for over $5 million.
