Britney Spears is a doting mama!
The 39-year-old pop star took to Instagram earlier today to share a quote and a lengthy caption in celebration of her sons’ birthdays.
She gushed about her two “handsome” boys, who she shares with former husband Kevin Federline, in the note. The two young men are Jayden James, who turned 15 on September 12, and Sean Preston, who turned 16 on September 14.

“My boys’ birthdays were last week … and unfortunately they are growing up and want to do their own things …. I have to ask their permission to post them because they are extremely independent little men 🤷🏼♀️😂🥺 !!!” Britney wrote in the caption.
The “Princess of Pop” also shared some details about their intimate celebration.
“Anyway we had a small party and the coolest ice cream cakes 🍨 🎂 !!! It makes me crazy because they are so tall and geez they are still growing 😳😳😳 !!! They went to a dance last week and I cried for two days 😭😭😭 my babies in a suit !!! It’s crazy !!!”
She added with a little warning: “And girls get ready cause my boys are so handsome 🥰🥰🥰 !!!”

Britney also explained why she posted a quote instead of actual pictures.
“I truly believe this quote which is why I wanted to share it … there’s a lot I can’t share with you all because my kids are very private which I love but I will tell you they are both extremely talented and I’m so incredibly blessed to have these two little men in my life ❤️🙏🏼 !!! And if they’re reading this … which I’m pretty sure they’re not … I love you two little devils so much 😈❤️😈 !!!”
A Rare Photo Of Her Sons

While Britney usually posts photos and dancing videos of herself on social media, she also incorporates some snaps of the important people in her life onto her feed, including fiancée Sam Asghari and her two kids.
The Grammy winner posted a rare photo of herself with her teenage sons back in March. In the post, she explained that she doesn’t often share details about her children as she wants them to be able to present themselves on their own.
“It’s so crazy how time flies …. My boys are so big now 👩👦👦 !!!! I know … I know … it’s very hard for any mama especially a mama with boys seeing them grow up so fast !!!! Talk about enough to make you go to your knees … GEEZ !!!! I’m extremely lucky because my two babies are such gentleman and so kind that I must have done something right 🙊 !!!!” Britney wrote.
She continued, “I haven’t posted pictures of them for some time cause they’re at the age where they want to express their own identities and I totally get it …. But I went out of my way to make this cool edit 🌅 and guess what …. They’re finally letting me post it !!! Now I don’t feel left out anymore 😂😂😂 and I’m gonna go celebrate …. Oh sh*t I guess cool moms don’t do that … Ok I’ll just read a book instead 🤷🏼♀️📚🤣 !!!!”
