Remember the cast shake-up that fans allegedly wanted and Bravo claimed was needed for the next season of Real Housewives of Atlanta? Well, it may be underway. It’s speculated that Olympian Sanya Richards-Ross will be joining the cast for its 14th season.
Richards-Ross has won four Olympic gold medals and could be adding the peach to her list of achievements. As of right now, it’s unclear if she will be a full-time cast member or just a friend of the show.

Not Her First Go Around
According to LoveBScott.com, who broke the story, the 36-year-old is no stranger to reality TV. In the past, she had her own WEtv series called Sanya’s Glam & Gold that lasted one season. The show focused on her life with her husband Aaron Ross a former NFL player.
The couple’s wedding was also featured on WEtv in 2010 on Platinum Weddings. While the athlete has not confirmed or denied that she will be joining the popular Bravo franchise, it isn’t out of the realm of possibility, seeing as she has gone down that path before.
The show was called out last season for being a bit dull. This sparked rumors that some new additions may be possible when the new season returns,
Dropouts
Some of the cast members that fans have been complaining about are Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams. Bailey is accused of being boring, coming off of almost every season she has been on, fans have pointed out that the model has nothing going on and should not be a full-time cast member.
As for Williams, some fans have expressed that they are turned off by the reality star’s latest relationship and how it came to be. Thankfully, for Williams, she has claimed that season 13 could be her last because she has been dying to explore other opportunities. Plus, the hate she gets has got to be getting to her.
More About Sanya
The Olympian recently made headlines for aligning with the likes of Naomi Osaka and Serena Williams to speak out about mental and physical health at the popular games. She confessed that she got an abortion in 2008 just before heading off to the Olympics.

The mom of one pointed out that if she wasn’t strong enough in both capacities, things could have gone very wrong for her. She also has a great presence on social media. The Jamaican-born athlete has almost 400,000 followers on IG and can bring her own audience to the show.

Its important to note that all of this is just speculation from eagle-eyed fans and behind-the-scenes sources. That being said, both Bailey and Williams no longer have the show's title or any affiliation with Bravo in their IG bio.
That could be because of contract negotiation but, regardless, that’s also never a good sign. Williams claims to be having a special with Bravo so the bridge can’t be completely burned but we haven’t heard a peep out of Bailey.
