A First-Time Mom

The 33-year-old royal also took to her Twitter account and made her own announcement.

"So delighted to share the news of the safe arrival of our daughter on Saturday 18th September 2021, at 23.42, at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London," Princess Beatrice wrote. "Thank you to the Midwife team and everyone at the hospital for their wonderful care."

The Princess and her husband first shared the pregnancy news in May. The new baby girl is Queen Elizabeth's 12th great-grandchild, as well as Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew's second grandchild. The Baby Girl Will Earn A Title

In British royalty, Princess Eugenie's son didn't get a title, while Princess Beatrice's daughter may have. In a report by Cosmopolitan, royal titles get passed down through the male line, and the elder Princess' husband, Edoardo, is actually an Italian count. That said, the newborn is a mobile donna -- Italian for "noblewoman." However, if the baby was a boy, he would get a title like his father.

Meanwhile, Princess Eugenie's husband, Jack, doesn't have a title, which means their offspring doesn't have either.

Princess Beatrice also gained a new title after her wedding. Apart from being a British princess, she is also known as an Italian countess.

They Are Great Parents To Wolfie

With her marriage to Edoardo, Princess Beatrice became a stepmother to his son Wolfie. As per People, the count shares joint custody of his first child with his ex Dara Huang, an architect, and designer who is based in London and Hong Kong.

"Edo is easily one of the best dads, he is so involved, and Beatrice is already showing that she's a fantastic step-mummy," an Insider revealed. "They've been on family vacations together with his son. They are really happy."
