As the wait continues for the highly-anticipated reboot of “Sex and the City,” fans were recently blessed with teaser footage of the upcoming series titled “And Just Like That.”
On Sunday night, HBO Max released a promo video detailing all the upcoming shows and seasons set to premiere later this year and next year, giving fans a brief glimpse at the reboot.
In the teaser clip, Sarah Jessica Parker‘s Carrie Bradshaw was with her girls Charlotte (Kristin Davis) and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) in what looked like an airport as she waved at someone in the distance.
In true Carrie fashion, she looked glam as ever, rocking a sophisticated hat with a patterned blazer. However, the highlight of the teaser was the heartwarming moment she shared with Mr. Big.
In the next scene, the beloved husband and wife are seen enjoying an intimate time in the kitchen. Chris Noth‘s character hugged Carrie from behind as they danced slowly.

The romantic scene was ended with a steamy smooch between the lovebirds. The short yet exciting scene sure brings up numerous questions.
Are Mr. Big and Carrie finally enjoying their happily ever after? Or are we going to see more of their on-and-off relationship? Unfortunately, only time will tell.
“Sex And The City” Reboot
Fans of “SATC” got the news of their lives when it was announced in January that a reboot to the legendary rom-com was in the works. According to a synopsis of the series, the spin-off would focus on the girl pals navigating their 50s and transitioning from their 30s.
While speaking to TVLine, Casey Bloys, HBO Max’s Chief of Content, revealed that the revival wasn’t going to be a redo of “Sex and the City,” instead, it would tell an honest story of the characters’ lives at their current stage of their lives and what their evolved friendship would look like.
The upcoming reboot features a reunion of the principal cast Parker, Noth, Davis, and Nixon, with the exception of Kim Cattrall, who played the role of Samantha Jones.
Some other familiar faces that would be seen in the reboot include Evan Handler as Harry Goldenblatt, David Eigenberg as Steve Brady, and Willie Garson as Stanford Blatch.
Of course, the revival will also feature some exciting new faces, such as Nicole Ari Parker, Sara Ramirez, and Karen Pittman.
All About Cattrall’s Absence
Cattrall last appeared as the promiscuous Jones in the 2010 sequel of the movie. However, despite the clamor for a revival since “Sex and the City 2,” the actress has been vocal about not wanting to be a part of the rom-com anymore.
Her desire to stay away from “SATC” has been attributed to her rumored rift with Parker, the main character of the movie-turned-series.
Details about their supposed feud first surfaced in 2017 when Cattrall said during an interview that she wasn’t friends with any of her co-stars. She also took a jab at Parker, noting that the actress wasn’t “nice” to her.
There have also been reports of salary disputes between the duo, but neither of the women has commented on it. Nevertheless, the show must go on!
