Congratulations are in order for Princess Beatrice and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, the couple have welcomed a daughter!

The 32-year-old gave birth to her first child on Sept. 18. The baby’s birth was announced via a statement from the Royal Family official website. “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter on Saturday 18th September 2021, at 23:42, at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London,” read the statement.
“The new baby’s grandparents and great-grandparents have all been informed and are delighted with the news. The family would like to thank all the staff at the hospital for their wonderful care. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well, and the couple are looking forward to introducing their daughter to her big [half] brother, Christopher Woolf.”
How Many Great Grandkids Now?
The new addition, whose name has not been announced yet, “weighs 6 pounds and 2 ounces.” This will be the twelfth great grandchild for the Queen Elizabeth II. Starting with the lesser-known Savannah, 10 and Isla, 8 the children of the Queen’s eldest grandson Peter Phillips and his ex wife, Autumn.
Of course, the popular ones Prince George,7, Princess Charlotte,6 and Prince Louis, 3. The children of basically next in line to rule Prince Williams, and wife Kate Middleton. There is also Mia 7, Lena, 2 and newborn Lucas Tindall with Zara Tindall who married former rugby player Mike Tindall.
The new rebels of the royal family Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle have two royal babies so far, Archie Harrison, 2 and newborn sister, and the Queens namesake, Lilibet Diana.
Following In Her Sister’s Steps
Finally, let’s not forget, Princess Beatrice’s own sister, Princess Eugenie welcomed a son in February with her husband Jack Brooksbank, August. The baby boy’s full name is a nod to his late great grandfather Prince Phillip, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.
The tenth in line for succession is also a stepmom to her husband’s son Christopher Woolf from a previous marriage with America architect Dara Huang. The young boy splits time between his parents and spends it in the UK with dad and his royal stepmom, and Hong Kong with his mom.
Overwhelmed & Excited!
The new mom first announced her pregnancy in May 2021 and soon after, a source gushed about her husband and what a great father he is already and how excited the Princess is to watch him father their new addition.
“Edo is easily one of the best dads, he is so involved, and Beatrice is already showing that she’s a fantastic step-mummy,” Adding, “they’ve been on family vacations together [with Christopher]. They are really happy.”

The Princesses Twitter account also released an updated. Their statement acknowleded the new baby’s birth and gave followers a reaction from the Princess.
