Divorce can be a tricky place to start from. It can lead to fear of starting over or indifference. For Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, he counted himself lucky to have found love after his divorce.

“I was so fortunate to have fallen in love once,” the Hollywood star told People in 2012. “To fall in love again? That’s a hard thing to do twice in the position I’m in. I’m one lucky son of a b**ch.” So, who won the heart of the Hollywood star?

Johnson has been one of Hollywood’s hottest men for decades, but he’s long-only had eyes for one lady–his wife, Lauren Hashian.

Over the years, the couple have been vocal about their love for one another, and often shared intimate looks on social media.

In July 2019, the "Baywatch" actor praised his heartthrob in a heartfelt Instagram post while he promoted his then-upcoming film titled "Hobbs & Shaw."

“I set the tone and tempo, but she’ll always be the life anchor who makes this whole thing happen and shine,” Johnson wrote alongside a video of the duo.

“Pleasure to rock the @hobbsandshaw world premiere w/ my much better half & beautiful smoke show @laurenhashianofficial. Best part about this night is by 11pm, we’re already at home, in our sweatpants and sippin’ on tequila. The strength & coolness of a woman comes in many many different forms.”

In a 2017 interview with Vydia, Hashian revealed that she started “singing consistently” when she was a kid in middle school and drew inspiration from her “family and friends,” as well as “amazing voices and storytellers.”

Hashian was born September 8, 1984, and grew up in Lynnfield, Massachusetts. She’s the daughter of John “Sib” Hashian from the classic rock band "Boston." Just like her dad, Hashian had a passion for music from a young age.

Hashian's other big acclaim to fame was when she became a finalist on the 2005 competition, "R U That Girl," on UPN. This was hosted by TLC’s Chili and T-Boz.

While her husband is constantly in the spotlight, Hashian loves to keep a "low-key profile" and hold "onto privacy and normalcy."

“Since my man spends much of his life in front of a camera, I’m a little more reserved with stepping out and being ‘out there as much. It just gives us balance, and makes you appreciate privacy and a ‘normal’ life even more.”

How Did They Meet?

Per People, the couple initially met in 2006 while Johnson was filming "The Game Plan." At the time, Johnson was still dating his estranged wife, Dany Garcia.

However, the pair started dating around 2007 when his first wife announced their separation.

Johnson claimed that Hashian was the first person to break the ice but quickly hustled away, excusing herself.

After that conversation, Johnson admitted that he was immediately fascinated by the woman who he would later marry. They later reconnected and have been inseparable since.

“Within 30 seconds, I thought, ‘Wow, this girl’s stunning,'” the "Jungle Cruise" actor said of Hashian in an interview with WSJ magazine.

“At the time, I was going through my breakup with Dany, and she was just coming off a big breakup too. Ironically, when you’re not looking for something, the power of the universe kind of takes over," he concluded.

When Did They Tie The Knot?

For a while, the actor was hesitant to get married again. This was following his divorce from Garcia. During an interview with WSJ, he confessed that the divorce did a number on him.

“I wasn’t fearful of getting married again, there was just some hesitancy. But Lauren was incredibly patient: ‘I love you, you love me, we have this amazing life together—no presh.'"

Over a decade after meeting, Johnson and Hashian finally tied the knot in 2019. The couple’s children were in attendance for the intimate ceremony in Hawaii.

Johnson proudly shared the wedding news via Instagram. He wrote, “We do. August 18th, 2019. Hawaii. Pōmaikaʻi (blessed)@laurenhashianofficial❤️.”

Johnson then shared on his socials that the goal was complete privacy. He wrote, “To carry out my #1 goal of complete privacy, no wedding planners or outside resources were hired. Everything you see was created by hand, by staff and family only.”

How Many Children Do They Have?

Hashian shares two daughters, Jasmine Johnson and Tiana Johnson, with the movie star. The couple welcomed their first child, Jasmine, in December 2015 and Tiana on April 23, 2018.

“Watching Lauren be a mom has been one of the most enlightening things I’ve ever seen,” Johnson gushed to People in 2016.

“As a man, you see your lady, your partner, your woman, your one, you see them in a certain light, and then when they become Mom, it’s a whole other perspective that if you open your eyes wide enough, it’s like a kaleidoscope," he concluded.
