Nicki Minaj has been a huge trending topic all week, and it all stemmed from a series of tweets, on Tuesday. This is where she explained how she hasn’t taken a COVID-19 vaccine yet and doesn’t plan to until she does more of her own research on them. She also claimed that she wouldn’t get vaccinated to attend the Met Gala, along with her plans to stay at home, with her baby boy.
Nicki Made Unusual Claim About COVID-19 Vaccine From Her Cousin’s Friend
One tweet that really had social media in a frenzy, was Minaj mentioning how her cousin’s friend initially claimed that as a result of taking a COVID-19 vaccine, his testicles soon became swollen. This ended up getting to a point where health officials in Trinidad & Tobago actually went out and investigated to see if there was a case of this. There obviously wasn’t, and Trinidad & Tobago Health Minister Dr. Terrence Deyalsingh said that this was a waste of time by them, in doing this investigation.

CNN’s Don Lemon Subliminally Calls Out Nicki Minaj
Nicki ultimately recommended that people do get these vaccines though, due to jobs requiring it. Many did believe that the Young Money rapper spread a lot of misinformation about the vaccines, and was using her massive platform in the wrong way. This is how Don Lemon, of CNN, feels, as he took to the air to call out the hypocrisy in some people not wanting these vaccines. He explained how people are fine with getting surgical procedures such as BBLs, but for some reason, are so skeptical about these COVID vaccines, which have been proven to be safe and effective.
“The people who aided and abetted Trump are stupid because they believed his big lie,” said Lemon. “The people who are not getting vaccines, who are believing the lies on the internet instead of science, it’s time to start shaming them or leave them behind because they are keeping the majority of Americans behind,”
“The people talking about, ‘I don’t know what’s in the shot,'” Lemon added. “You know what they get shots in nowadays? In their rear ends, they’re getting shots to make it bigger. They’re getting shots in their face. They don’t know what’s in Botox… You don’t have to listen to a minority of people who are being harmful to the greater good and who are not acting on logic, reason, and science.”
Nicki Blasts Lemon For His Comments On The Air
Nicki wasn’t afraid to subliminally respond to Lemon either. She took to her Instagram stories to claim how Lemon is an “Uncle Tomiana,” and people are getting “demonized,” for asking questions. Many people have valid reasons to be concerned about how Nicki is expressing her COVID vaccine skepticism though, as her fans even took to the CDC headquarters, in Atlanta, to protest. This has since been viewed as a move that would oddly be practiced, the same way Donald Trump supporters would, in being against vaccines.
“The people who aided and abetted Trump are stupid because they believed his big lie,” said Lemon. “The people who are not getting vaccines, who are believing the lies on the internet instead of science, it’s time to start shaming them or leave them behind because they are keeping the majority of Americans behind,”
