This season of the reality television show, “Bachelor In Paradise” has been bursting with various dramas. Of interest is the love triangle between Pieper James, Brendan Morais and Natasha Parker.
Fans would recall that Parker was caught in a web of deception spun by James and Morais. She thought she had kicked off something intimate with Morais only for Piper to swoop in and end it all.
It was alleged that the duo had been dating prior to the show and Morais was only toying with Parker until James arrived.
Parker and other paradise colleagues then voiced their anger at their convoluted plan, telling them that they did not deserve to be on the show.
In a turn of events, the dysfunctional couple realized that they shot themselves in the foot and decided to leave the show.

It Was All A Game For Morais
Prior to James’ arrival on Paradise Island, Parker had envisaged that some loveship-ish would sail with her and Morais on board.
However, when James arrived, Morais’ focus shifted completely from Parker sparking rumors that he and James were in a relationship before she hit the beach.
Brendan had initially claimed that he only saw James a few times before Paradise and that everything was on a casual note, but this turned out to be false.
Later, we saw James question Morais for downplaying what they had, and this unveiled a secret that was not known at that time.
“I’m trying to understand where there’s the disconnect because like, I’m saying I’m here for you. And like, I want to make that, like, abundantly clear,”
“I could have just made it up in my head like, I was going to come in and everything was going to be, like, right back to where we left things. But I don’t know, it’s like I’m missing something,” James complained.
Morais then disclosed to her that he had to engage Parker to make it through until she arrived.
“There’s certain things that have to be done and certain ways I have to navigate this to bring us to this particular moment,”
“I can’t have a girlfriend, like, entering this whole journey,” he said.
He also told James that would not have been a “good look” and that he would have gotten sent home had he not done the things he did. What a plan!
The Showdown
In the last episode, Joe Amabile, Parker, Maurissa Gunn, Demi Burnett, and other cast members turned up the heat on Morais and James.
They vented their anger about their presence, asking them what they were doing on the beach if they were already set on one another.
Demi was the most vocal of the group as she said;
“I think they wasted everyone’s time and they should go.” “Obviously they just came here to get more fame, followers and clout,” Demi declared.
James then tried to explain to their colleagues what happened.
“I didn’t know that there was a rulebook that you couldn’t come here with the intention of meeting somebody.”
“Like, meeting him and exploring this relationship. Yes, we met before, we covered that,” she ranted.
The argument ended in a stalemate with Morais no longer interested in talking about the issue.
“I’ve literally said everything I need to say, I appreciate everyone’s concern.
“I’ve said everything I need to say on the matter. Outside of that, we have nothing else to talk about,” he concluded.
James And Morais To Leave The Show
After the heated conversation with their colleagues, Morais and James had a heart-to-heart talk and decided they would leave the show as a couple.
“I told you I didn’t want to come, I told you,” Pieper ranted.
Morais then asked her if she wanted to leave the show with him? “What I would come here for is to find what I think I have with you,” he said, and she agreed.
Morais later addressed the group to disclose their decision.
“This environment isn’t where we want to be in this particular moment,” he revealed.
“I think you all know and understand this is the girl I want to be with. I feel comfortable in saying that. So, I appreciate all you guys, but I want to leave with her. We’re going to do that on our own terms, so take care guys.”
How Is James And Morais’ Relationship Going?
Although they left the show as a couple, it seems that they have a lot of unresolved issues to work on.
Even on Paradise Island, the lovers argued about their feelings for each other with Parker coming up in the conversation severally.
James recently revealed to Us Weekly some details of their relationship.
“We’re working through things,”. “This obviously isn’t something that’s super healthy for a relationship either, so it kind of is what it is. Every day, [we’re] taking it day by day,” she said.
Love, they say, don’t cost a thing. This love might just cost a lot.
