2021 has been a very stressful year for T.I., and his wife, Tameka "Tiny" Harris. In late January, their former close friend, Sabrina Peterson, accused a married couple of abuse. She also alleged that the rapper at one point held her at gunpoint. After that information was leaked, additional accusers started to DM Peterson on Instagram and claimed that they had suffered some sort of abuse, including sexually.
T.I. And Tiny Were Sued By Peterson, For Defamation
Earlier this year, Peterson also filed a defamation case against the couple. She claimed that her reputation had been taking a hit from T.I. and Tiny, which included being threatened by others, on social media. The couple asked a judge to throw this case out but recently ended up receiving a denial, from a judge. Peterson even offered the couple to admit what they allegedly did to her, in exchange for the lawsuit being tossed, but T.I. wasn't with that at all, as he ended up putting out a diss record, in response.
T.I. And Tiny Finally Score A Victory In Court Regarding 2005 Sexual Assault Case
As more accusers came out against one of the social media's favorite couples, one accuser came out, regarding sexual assault. This was said to have occurred in Los Angeles, way back in 2005. Things seemed like T.I. and Tiny would take another turn for the worse here, but according to TMZ, prosecutors have now thrown this case out. Legal documents obtained by the outlet, state that this case falls outside the statute of limitations. This case has now fallen under the 10-year expiration date. The police report was initially filed by the alleged victim earlier this year, claiming that she'd been assaulted and drugged by the people, after initially meeting them at a local nightclub, in 2005.
T.I. And Tiny Also Avoided Charges, For 2010 Las Vegas Sexual Assault Accusations
Luckily for T.I. and Tiny, this was the second sexual assault case that they've beaten, this year, in which the statute of limitations helped them. This spring, a woman came out and said that she was drugged and sexually assaulted by the two, after meeting them at the airport, in Las Vegas. At the time, the woman claimed to have been invited to hang out with the couple.
T.I. And Tiny Lost Their Reality Show On VH1
Following these series of assault and sexual abuse allegations, T.I. and Tiny started to lose out on business ventures as well. T.I. ended up not returning for the third installment of the "Ant-Man" movie series, and "T.I. and Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle," was also removed from VH1. This show had been on the air ever since 2011. The network didn't specify if the allegations were the actual reason why it was taken off the air, but the timing of it was a very huge coincidence. T.I.'s stepdaughter, Zonnique, also recently took to Instagram Live, to confirm, that the show was being removed from VH1. She initially wanted to share her pregnancy journey, in the upcoming new season.
