Rapper G-Eazy is making headlines and not for the right reasons!

On Monday, September 13, the famous rapper was arrested in Manhattan, New York, after allegedly assaulting two men. As reported by New York Daily News, it all began on Friday night at the high-end nightclub, Boom Boom Room outside The Standard, High Line hotel.

At around 12:40 am, the rapper, whose real name is Gerald Earl Gillium, arrived at the club with his entourage, and they hung out at the VIP area celebrating.

However, it turned out that the VIP section was actually set aside for a private party for the staff of Lacoste, the clothing company. Unfortunately, things got out of hand when one of the party attendees asked G-Eazy and his team to move to another area.

It was reported that the "No Limit" crooner and his crew immediately attacked the unnamed party-goer. Things escalated, and the brawl was taken outside where G-Eazy again punched another man, aged 32.

The police soon arrived at the scene following a 911 call, and the victims wasted no time identifying the rapper as the perpetrator.

Although the 32-year-old rapper attended the prominent VMAs on Sunday evening, two days after the incident, karma caught up with him on Monday when he was arrested by the NYPD and charged with two counts of assault.

However, after being given a ticket at the station, he was released with a court date set to October 1. Neither G-Eazy nor his team has publicly commented on the incident.

Not His First Rodeo!

It seems the rapper, who rose to fame in 2014, is no stranger to throwing hands at nightclubs and getting arrested. Back in 2018, The Blast reported that G-Eazy got arrested after getting into a fight at a club in Stockholm, Sweden.

The California native was arrested by Swedish police, and the altercation reportedly involved an official of the club. Further details revealed that G-Eazy had on him some bags of cocaine, causing him to be charged for assault and drug possession.

At the time, the rapper was seen partying with Sean Kingston and his now-ex-girlfriend Halsey, handing out shots. He was kept in custody for a day due to the lack of a judge.

Following the controversy, G-Eazy took to social media to apologize to his fans for his unruly behavior in a now-deleted post.

"Embarrassed & apologetic beyond words about the incident, but above all, I’m so f**king grateful they let me go, craziest experience of my life, awful night with a lot of bad luck and some even worse decisions," he wrote.

Although he escaped a jail sentence, the rapper had to pay a hefty fine and restitution to the victim.
