Unfazed and unbothered, that’s the motto of Justin and Hailey Bieber’s Met Gala appearance.
We’ve said it once and we’ll say it again, just because the Met Gala happened on Monday, September 13, doesn’t mean people are done talking about it.
Despite the annual extravaganza seeing fewer celebrities walk the red carpet than usual, there was plenty of fashion and faux pas for viewers to feast their eyes upon.
Of course, Kim Kardashian’s all-black shadow figure ‘fit is all anyone can really talk about and meme about, which is exactly what she wanted to get out of the whole event.
Shadow Kardashian!
But there was also Billie Eilish who ditched her “Bad Guy” persona and went for a Marylin Monroe-esque ethereal look.
Kendall Jenner was doused in diamonds, because you know, they’re a girl’s best friend.
Frank Ocean seemingly adopted an alien baby from outer space and debuted his bundle of joy at the Met.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky made their first official Met Ball debut as a couple, as did Justin and Hailey.

Mr. and Mrs. Bieber kept their “American Independence” themed outfits very basic with all-black ensembles, which didn’t stop fans from reminding them of JB’s past.
Video footage reposted by Instagram account Pop Faction, shows fans chanting “Selena” repeatedly while Justin and Hailey posed for pictures.

The couple appear unfazed by the chants, and now, Hailey’s cousin, Ireland Baldwin is setting the record straight.
A fan account for Hailey and Justin reposted the video on TikTok on Tuesday, September 14, captioning the video, “DISGUSTING.”
The text on the video read, “Selena Gomez fans camped outside of the met trying to ruin justin and hailey’s red carpet moment 🤢🤢.”
Ireland got to chatting in the comments section and defended her cousin and cousin-in-law writing, “They’re one of the happiest and most in love couples I’ve ever gotten the chance to be around,” Ireland commented on the video. “They don’t care about them 😂.”
One person responded to Ireland’s comment writing, “It’s just funny because Selena is one of the kindest people in the world and she would be so disappointed in these “fans” for doing this.”
Another wrote, “They r so embarrassing omg 💀💀 I don’t blame Justin for not wanting to go to these type of events.”
Well, according to Ireland, they are the happiest and most in love couple, so let bygones be bygones.
