Photoshop, airbrush, FaceTune… it’s the normal thing to do in Hollywood, but when it’s not done correctly, be prepared to feel the wrath of the internet.
The former royal has faced their fair share of scrutiny, criticism and online trolling in the past.
However, since their tell-all two-part sit-down interview with Oprah, things have been quiet on the Meghan and Harry front.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their second child, a little girl named Lilibet Dianaa Mountbatten-Windsor in June and have been keeping a low profile in their multi-million dollar home in Montecito, California.

But with every calm comes a storm, and this time the internet is not backing down.
The couple appear on the cover of TIME’s “100 Most Influential People,” and the internet is having a heyday with how much airbrushing and photoshopping the picture has undergone.

Meghan’s freckles have mysteriously disappeared, their skin appears smoother than butter and Harry’s hair seems fuller than normal.
One person took to Twitter writing, “Harry has a lot of extra hair in this picture. Why is he hanging off Meghan’s shoulder like he’s hiding behind his mummy?”
Another wrote, “The airbrush is doing some heavy lifting here.”
“Is this real or photoshopped? They are so plastic it’s hard to tell, although Harry hiding behind Me-gain as usual seems legit,” wrote another.
Other’s had issues with what was said about the couple’s compassion and their desire to run toward struggle.

The statement, “they run toward struggle,” didn’t sit well with the internet.

One retaliated, “Compassion? Where? None shown to the Queen when her husband was dying and dead. Everything they do they leak plus they continually ask everyone to put their hands in their pockets. How much did it cost them to be included? I’m embarrassed for you!”
“This couple probably doesn’t understand the meaning of struggle,” an infuriated person tweeted.
Another responded to TIME’s article, “When are their 15 minutes going to be over. They literally do nothing.”
On the contrary, Meghan and Harry are involved in a number of charitable organizations and run their Archewell foundation.
According to the Archewell website, “Archewell Foundation is an impact-driven non-profit created by The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Our core purpose is to uplift and unite communities — local and global, online and offline — one act of compassion at a time.”
