Even though Alex Rodriguez is already hosting dinner parties for the team and potentially calling some of the shots in the organization he and Lore don't own the team just yet! The duo bought both the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Minnesota Lynx of the WNBA for 1.5 billion dollars. They are going to be doing a gradual take over of the organization starting out with the purchase of 20% of the franchise outright. The full takeover isn't expected to happen until 2023. This, after a judge, dismissed a lawsuit from the second-largest shareholder of the team. Who opposed the sale of the franchise to Rodriguez and Lore.

After his breakup with Jennifer Lopez, we got a chance to see a very sad and out-of-shape A-Rod sitting alone at a restaurant. He's since snapped out of it though. Over the summer he rocked a six-pack on his yacht while on vacation in the French Riviera. Where he was rumored to have flirted with a few ladies here and there. After this mega bash that he held for his new team, he jetted off to New York. Where he's also been seen in the party scene prior to the Met Gala. It's good to see the former slugger back on his feet!
