Britney Spears Breaks Silence On Engagement, 'I Feel Like A Brand New Woman!'

Britney Spears broke her silence on the big news of her engagement in the most Britney way possible, with a smoking hot bikini video!

The 'Toxic' singer took to Instagram just 24 hours after she agreed to marry her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, saying she feels like a "new woman" after chopping off her hair and dancing to Prince in her backyard. Of course, Spears posted a stunning bikini video along with a lengthy statement -- along with commenting on the arrogant sarcasm in the media.

"After my first real ass pic, I was kinda inspired to go red and then I cut all my hair off, and now I feel like a brand new woman  !!! I made a smoothie, went into my yard, turned on some Prince, and laid out ... and then I put my hair up in a ponytail which made me look like Pebbles from The Flintstones and did some laundry !!! But honestly, laundry is my favorite thing to do especially in the evening when the sun is setting ...I think most women secretly love doing laundry !!!" she began. 

Britney continued, " I'll be honest and say that since I've been on a break from the industry I realized it was the simple things I've missed the most !!! On another note, I really don't appreciate the paparazzi giving me a double chin while I'm driving in my car  ... you f--king a--holes  !!! But hey it's Hollywood and as Madonna says, how can it hurt you when it looks so good ??? Remember that song I sang on stage with her at the #VMAs  ??? I've had my fair share of embarrassing pics and it's not the pictures that upset me ... I think it's the arrogant sarcasm and people talking s--t that goes with it !!! Oh well ... I try to stay far away from it all and believe I'm doing a pretty damn good job at that lately ... I mean my home is spotless, I have a pie in the oven, and I'm gonna watch Twilight later  ... after I fold my clothes of course."

In the sexy video, Britney is dancing around in a hot pink bikini and doing the standard Brit Brit move of lowering the bottoms just enough to remain legal to stay on Instagram. But, it is pretty close!

As we reported, Britney and Sam announced their engagement over the weekend after sharing a photograph of herself with a massive Cartier ring on her wedding finger -- which she was flipping up towards the camera. Following the announcement, reports surfaced that the couple is already discussing a prenuptial agreement to protect her massive $60 million fortune. Sam joked about the situation on social media, confirming the couple will have an "iron-clad" prenup, sarcastically saying it will protect his monster shoe collection!

Plus, Britney is awaiting an upcoming hearing where her father has asked for the conservatorship with his daughter to be dismissed. It is an important decision because Britney is currently NOT allowed to get married, because she cannot sign a contract. Of course, if the conservatorship is dropped -- it is wedding bells for the singer!
