The final 3 cooks are in the hot seat and whipping up their best dishes for a chance to be crowned the winner of “MasterChef: Legends,” but Gordon Ramsay and crew won’t let them off the hook too easy. The cooks have been rising to the challenge all season long as they were put to the test time, and time again when it came to showing off their culinary techniques.
2-Hour Season Finale!
The 2-hour season finale will be no exception, as MasterChef has tapped legendary chef Curtis Stone to return as a guest judge for the final competition. In an exclusive clip provided to The Blast, the finalists are shocked when they are greeted by the Ghosts of Christmas Past – all the eliminated contestants from the previous episodes of the season return to the kitchen! Instead of competing though, this time the eliminated contestants will serve as judges while critiquing the dishes plated by the finalists.

To make things more difficult, Gordon Ramsay informs the finalists that they will not just be preparing dishes for the 3 main judges – but for everyone!
According to a description of the episode from FOX, the 2-hour finale will be jam-packed with MasterChef mayhem:
“The three finalists begin their battle for the MasterChef title, trophy and a quarter of a million dollars. Legendary Chef Curtis Stone returns as guest judge for the appetizer round and the finalists are cheered on by their fellow top 10 contestants, who have returned to the MasterChef kitchen for one final time. Then, Michelin star chef Michael Cimarusti is the final legend to grace the MasterChef kitchen and it’s the finalists last chance to impress – with their entree and dessert dishes. Only one will be crowned the winner of MasterChef Legends.”
The all-new “Finale-Curtis Stone/ Finale-Michael Cimarusti” two-hour season finale episode of MASTERCHEF airs Wednesday, Sept. 15, 8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT on FOX.
