Jennifer Aniston Has Awkward Moment on British Television

Even though we speak the same language, every culture has different mannerisms. That's potentially what Jen Aniston was left thinking after an interview on British TV for the show "The One." Although looking back on the footage it seems more like it was Jen Aniston who just wanted to keep talking and talking. It was up to former soccer player, and now TV host, Jermaine Jenas to try and keep the flow of the interview going and bring Reese Witherspoon into the fold.

There are a couple of moments in the interview that was certainly awkward. That first moment when Jermaine had to cut Jen off to make way for Witherspoon was kind of the kick-starter for everything else that went down. However, if you watch it back it does seem like Jermaine is doing what a host is supposed to do. Both Aniston and Witherspoon should know this! After all, they were on the show in the first place to promote the second season of their Apple TV+ show “The Morning Show”. Jen was even talking about how she went on Good Morning America to learn how these types of shows work.

Jen certainly got annoyed when she got cut off the first time. At least that's what you can clearly see in her face. The second time that Jenas had to cut her off he does so by saying that Jen basically told him she was a morning person. An unamused Aniston reacts saying,

“Did I sell that to you?'” after Jenas admits she kind of did Aniston snaps back with, “Did I get a good deal?”

As all of this is going on Aniston is literally stepping all over Reese Witherspoon's part of the interview. Jermaine Jenas is just scrambling to find ways to get Aniston to quiet down, so he can talk to Witherspoon! Reese actually then confirmed that Jen was a night owl anyway.

By this point in the interview, we can get that Jen is wearing her emotions on her sleeve today. The next question for Reese was kind of like that knock-out punch. You could kind of see that in Jen's expressions. When they start talking about kids and even show a video of Reese Witherspoon dancing because she's happy the kids are back to school Jen puts on a sad puppy face. Pretty much everyone is aware of Jen's struggles with having kids. It kind of looked like she was left out of that entire topic. Still, she's trying to find ways to get back into the conversation.

As the video began making the rounds on social media the debate began over who was being rude to who. Granted Jermaine Jenas certainly could've been more subtle with his transitions. It's kind of his job though to moderate the interview. They only took up like 7 minutes of their time. So you want to make sure that in that span both actresses would get a chance to talk. Jen though seemed to be way more talkative than usual. Within the cringe, we still got details on Witherspoon's time on Friends. By the way did she out of the blue just mention David Schwimmer, and no one else from the cast? Is she spending time with him and Jen because they are really dating? You be the judge of what really happened! There's a lot to unpack in the 7-minute segment.
