Alicia Vikander Is A Mom! Confirms Birth Of First Child With Michael Fassbender

Another celebrity has left us out of the loop...  but with good reason! "Tomb Raider" star Alicia Vikander has welcomed a baby. The actress gave birth in August and shared some minor details about her life as a mom.

“I now have a whole new understand­ing of life in general,” shared Vikander who describes motherhood as changing her perspective on life. The 32-year-old shares the child with X-Men actor Michael Fassbender, 44.

This is the first child for both actors who clearly like to move in secret because they kept their 2017 marriage under wraps, and the two never confirmed they were dating before that either. They would just show up at the same places… sometimes together.

The actress may have revealed that she had a baby, but she gave little to no details about the new addition. Fans are speculating that she may have given birth in August.

However, Vikander and her husband were seen with a baby in Ibiza last month and that was NOT a newborn. The cutie wore what looked to be a yellow onesie and looked closer to four, maybe five months. Speculate for yourself here.

The Ex-Machina actress and Fassbender met in 2016 on the set of The Light Between Oceans and it seems like on that day they made a pact to kept quiet about every detail of their life. The notoriously private couple certainly enjoys their privacy, so, keeping their baby a secret shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone.

What is shocking is that the actress, who is promoting her new film Blue Bayou, even spoke about her new baby.

Can you blame her though? becoming a mom must be exciting for her. She reflected on how motherhood will apply to any of her future work, crediting the beautiful process of pre and post-pregnancy as inspiring.

“That’s pretty beautiful and obviously will give a lot to any of my work in the future.” This side of Vikander is endearing! It’s refreshing to get a glimpse of her in mommy mode. Fassbender doesn’t speak much about his wife either, but he did have kind words for the new mom back in 2016 while they were working together.

The actor described the connection between him and his co-star at the time. “You have to come together very quickly [when making a movie]. That’s a very specific, unusual thing to this business — and it can be a very powerful thing,” he told Entertainment Weekly.

However, in the same interview, he made it clear that his personal life is just that, his personal life. “I’m not going to talk about my private life with a total stranger unless I feel like I need to. Why would I? I don’t.”

The actor has stuck by that and is loving fatherhood judging by that huge smile on his face as he walks on the beach.

This may be the only time fans this much information into the private lives of the couple. As for a look at their new bundle of joy, that is an even slimmer chance.
