Dixie D’Amelio wants everyone to know she’s highly ‘misunderstood.’
The TikTok star who shot to fame in 2019 alongside her younger sister, Charli D’Amelio, wants everyone to stop calling her ‘rude.’
During her appearance she said, “Some people say I might have like an attitude or like I’m rude and I get it because I do come off that way sometimes, but I’m very sarcastic.”

As many fans know, Dixie and Charli both got major backlash last year when they posted an episode of “Dinner With The D’Amelios.”
In the short-lived series, the family’s private chef, Aaron May, prepares exquisite meals for Marc, Heidi, Dixie and Charli.

However, in one particular episode Dixie can be seen gagging on the food and throwing it up. Charli complains she would rather have Dino-nuggets than the five-star food Chef May prepared.
The young stars were deemed “spoiled,” “ungrateful” and “snotty” by many of their fans. Charli lost over one million fans almost overnight and it caused both of them to take time away from social media.
Dixie went on to explain on the podcast, “I feel people are more comfortable when you can joke around with someone. So, I’ll meet someone and I’ll just like joke around and people who like support me and I talked to on Twitter they get it, but if you just see a 15 second video me, they’re like oh my god she’s such a… I just tried to be myself and I love joking around with people.”
Fans of the famous family got an inside look at how crippling the media attention and criticism has been for Dixie.
In a clip posted to social media titled, “Dixie Breaks down Crying PART 1,” fans can hear her crying to her mom and dad.
“It just makes me feel like I don’t deserve anything and…like I’m trying. I’m trying to do everything I can to better myself, and it just gets worse,” she said through sobs. “They break up every single thing I do and make it like a negative thing. I literally got back from the gym and then they posted a video of just that 15 seconds clip and they’re like, ‘Oh my god she’s so musty.’”
She once again mentioned how everyone picks apart everything she says or does, and how much it ‘sucks.’
