Rapper Kodak Black is donating to the family of a fallen police officer who died recently after contracting COVID-19.

The 'Wake Up In The Sky' rapper wanted to make sure the daughter of the cop will be able to attend college -- and afford it -- so he is making a massive donation to the family after hearing the tragic story.

According to reports, Fort Lauderdale police officer Jennifer Sepot recently passed away after contracting Coronavirus and having extreme complications due to the virus. To make matters worse, she left behind a 2-year-old daughter. So, apparently, Kodak saw the story and wanted to make sure the kid is taken care of in the future.

Kodak's lawyer, Bradford Cohen, explained, that rapper came across the article on the police officer's death and saw she was leaving behind a young child. So, he told him to "make sure that kid is straight. Pay her college fund." At that point, that's exactly what they did -- and now, the young girl will have money from the rapper to use at school.

The Fort Lauderdale Fraternal Order of Police responded to the generous gesture, saying they are "grateful to everyone who has donated to the Sepot family in memory of Jennifer. Her loss has had an immeasurable and lasting impact on our officers. The generosity by supporters has offered a degree of hope during a time in which support for law enforcement feels to be a waning movement."

Interestingly, Kodak revealed he contracted COVID-19 a few months back and suffered from body aches headaches, and even had difficulty breathing at some point - which lasted 10 days.

As we reported, Kodak made huge headlines in the past few days after revealing he was expecting his second child. The rapper dropped the monster news over labor day weekend, saying his girlfriend is pregnant with a little girl. According to his attorney, the rapper's girlfriend -- Maranda Johnson -- (a real estate agent) has been dating for an extensive period of time. At this point in their lives, the duo decided they wanted to start a family. The baby girl was conceived around the month of April.

If you do the math, the baby is now due in late 2021 or early 2022. Plus, Kodak can't wait to introduce his new baby to his 6-year-old son (King) who he has from a prior relationship. Bradford says the rapper is super pumped about having the baby and can't wait to "spoil his daughter."

Obviously, this is all a breath of fresh air for the rapper who just ended a lengthy case involving sexual assault. He was forced to take full responsibility for what happened with the female victim and apologized to her in open court. As for how he felt about the situation, Kodak responded "5 yrs later … both we just wanted to get this s--t over wit AND I ain’t have to come off no money.”

In the end, he pointed out how much of the criminal justice system is set up for people like him to fail, but it appears he is now offering an olive branch to officers in his area.
