Lil Uzi Vert Reveals $24 Million Diamond Was Ripped Out Of His Head

Lil Uzi Vert revealed that the $24 million pink diamond he had in the middle of his forehead was painfully ripped out by fans. The “That’s It” rapper while attending the reopening of Jay-Z's 40/40 club in NY shared the inevitable story.
“I had a show at Rolling Loud and I jumped into the crowd and they kind of ripped it out,” he claims. The pink diamond was already a topic of discussion because let’s face it, it’s odd to put a diamond in the middle of your forehead.
$24 Million Mistake
The rapper revealed to the news publication that he is “feeling good” after the incident and “I still have the diamond, so I feel good,” he reiterated. Almost as if trying to convince himself as well.
The Grammy-nominated rapper shared a video on IG back in February of himself with the huge diamond in his head. He also showed off the stone in individual Instagram Story videos before it made it ways to his forehead.
Fans refused to believe that the implant was real and questioned the rapper’s safety around having a foreign object placed in his body.
Beauty Is Pain
The rapper captioned the post “Beauty is pain” with the diamond emoji and hearts. The rapper teased a couple of weeks before that he was going to undergo the procedure and shared a bit about the long process.
“I've been paying for a natural pink diamond from Elliot for years now,” he wrote on Twitter. “This one Stone cost so much I've been paying for it since 2017. That was the first time I saw a real natural pink diamond.” Yeah, same with us Uzi.
“A lot of M's in my face,” he joked.
The Process Took A While
Since then, Uzi continued to update fans on the process of getting a diamond implanted in his forehead and it was long. He also made sure to share more details about the diamond when prompted by fans.
One fan wanted to know if this diamond would even hold its value. The rapper was quick to respond that it is Gemological Institute of America “natural”. The price tag of the diamond should secure that query.
Once fans realized that Uzi was dead serious, then they wanted to know how in the world he still had money after that purchase or are they just assuming that he isn’t flat broke. The “Bad and Bougie” featured rapper revealed “Yes,” indicating that his coins are intact. “That's why it took 5 years.”
He Almost lost It
Thankfully, the rapper was able to recover the insanely expensive diamond after that fan ferociously ripped it out of his head. The “10 almost 11 carats” stone could have easily been lost in the huge crowd at the Rolling Loud festival.
In place of the now slowly closing gaping hole in the wannabe Steven Universe character’s head is a curved barbell. Similar to belly button piercing jewelry. That being said, you live, and you learn.
Uzi can now have that diamond placed into a more traditional setting.
