Mark Ronson & Grace Gummer Secretly Tie The Knot

Grammy-winner Mark Ronson and actress Grace Gummer are married! The musician posted the first photo of the married couple on his Instagram with a super gushy caption. “To my truest love...out of nowhere, you made 45 hands down the greatest year of my life.”

The couple was all smiles with Gummer in a flowy white gown and Ronson sporting a three-piece suit. “I'm sure it took me 45 years to become the man worthy of your love. I hope I spend every one of these birthdays by your side til my last day. And beyond. Forever and ever yours.” The British native posted an abundance of love heart emojis.

The 45-year-old didn’t ignore the elephant in the room or the white gown that his new wife was sporting. “And yes, we got married,” he wrote as an afterthought, you know, no big deal. The couple didn’t comment any further, but PageSixconfirmed the marriage back at the beginning of August.

Unfortunately, the nuptials were pushed back and the guest list had to be scaled down as well because of the new Delta Covid-19 variant. Thankfully, the “Uptown Funk” producer and the Dr. Death actress were able to eventually tie the knot but with a significantly smaller guest list.

The exact guestlist is not known but the 35-year-old actress and her husband both come from powerhouse families. Ronson’s mother is designer Ann Dexter-Jones, and his dad is “Foreigner” guitarist Mick Jones.

He also has three sisters; Charlotte, who followed her mom into the design field, Samantha Ronson, who is a musician as well but more known for her drama with ex-girlfriend Lindsay Lohan. Finally, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, who is currently playing troublemaker Naomi Pierce on HBO’s Succession.

Not to be upstaged, Gummer’s mother is Meryl Streep, her father is Don Gummer, a sculptor and her siblings are in the industry as well. Mamie is an actress and is a regular on The Good Fight, her other sister Louisa Jacobson is an actress on HBO's The Gilded Age. Finally, her brother Henry is a musician.

The two have been involved in interesting relationships in the past. Gummer was secretly married to Tay Strathairn, the keyboardist for the band “Dawes” back in July of 2019. They were unfortunately only married for 42 days (longer than some), and she filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences.”

The two had known each other since 1993 when their parents worked on The River Wild together. Ronson was also married once before to Joséphine de La Baume from 2011 to 2018. She left him citing “irreconcilable differences”. Ronson was also engaged to Rashida Jones at one point.

The reduced-sized wedding turned out to be perfect for the newlyweds. The intimate ceremony meant a lesser chance of Covid-19 spreading and a more relaxed atmosphere. The couple, who is great at keeping secrets because no one even knew they were dating until a short time ago, will probably continue to keep us in suspense about their married life. That isn’t so surprising for a Hollywood couple.
