Kristen Stewart just debuted a new look at the Venice Film Festival!
The 31-year-old actress has an upcoming movie titled Spencer, a biographical, psychological drama film by Pablo Larraín with Steven Knight as the writer. The movie follows the life of Princess Diana, her life being a royal, and how she escaped from that life.
The film was initially released today at the premiere in Venice, and Stewart made sure she was dressed to kill for the special event.
Her Romper Came From Chanel
The Twilight star opted to wear a black romper from Chanel that hugged her fit figure in all the right ways. The one-piece was made of tweed and boasted long sleeves, gold-colored buttons, and chain detail. It also had a round neckline that showcased a glimpse of her collarbone. Basically, the upper part of the garment was very sophisticated.
Looking Chic & Leggy
Meanwhile, the lower portion was too sexy with its daringly short length — the piece just barely grazed her upper thighs, leaving a teasing glimpse of her backside and toned legs exposed for her fans to admire.
Stewart added a pair of black pumps to further enhance her look, making her legs look longer. The movie star also wore a smokey eye look and some light pink tint on her lips.
New Movie, New Look
Apart from her chic ensemble, she also showed off her new hair color to the premiere. Stewart had short golden locks while playing her character, Princess Diana. She changed it up for the premiere and rocked a strawberry blond shade.
For the event, she had her hair tied in a low ponytail with a heavy side part.
According to People, fans of the late royal and the actress have been scrutinizing the similarities between the two ever since the first-look photos of Stewart in costume came out. The film poster portrays her in character, seemingly crying while wearing an enormous ivory gown — which looked familiar to many as Diana's famously ornate wedding gown. The gown was from the Chanel Haute Couture collection, which was custom-created for the film based on a 1988 design from the brand's Métier des Arts collection. According to sources, the garment alone took more than 1,000 hours to create.

Spencer is set to be released in the fall (November 5), ahead of the 25th anniversary of the Princess’ death in 2022. The movie will center on a December 1991 weekend as Princess Diana spends the holidays with the royal family and makes a very important decision to end her marriage to Prince Charles.
"Spencer is a dive inside an emotional imagining of who Diana was at a pivotal turning point in her life,” Stewart said in a statement. “It is a physical assertion of the sum of her parts, which starts with her given name: Spencer. It is a harrowing effort for her to return to herself, as Diana strives to hold onto what the name Spencer means to her."
