Mackenzie Edwards has gone through the wringer since she met and married controversial reality star Ryan Edwards.
With her life on public display all the time, it is safe to assume she won't be enjoying some quiet time now that she and Ryan have been fired from "Teen Mom OG."
Social media might just be her only source of income, so she has to keep being in the spotlight at least on Instagram.
The constant social media life isn't perfect as she still receives taunts and other unwanted reactions from fans on her page.
In one of such reactions to a picture she posted on her Instagram page, she commented that she would not be having more kids with Ryan.
About Mackenzie’s Decision
Fans would recall Standifer hosted a very candid Q&A session on Instagram last year where she confessed to fans that she often feels overwhelmed in her present situation.
She further let slip that she had tied her tubes.
"I had my tubes tied a month ago so it's a no from me dawg," Mackenzie responded to a fan's question on the subject.
When asked about the post-surgery recovery process, she answered, "I didn’t think it was that bad!"
Her recent comment on the post on Instagram affirms she won't be getting pregnant again. She posted a picture of her car which showed Mack’s three kids, Hudson, Jagger, and Stella, all seated in the backseat of her car.
The other row of seats behind the kids looked empty and a fan-made a quip.
"Looks like it's time to start filling up the back row," one follower commented, according to In Touch.
"Hahahahahahaha," Mackenzie replied. "No."
So yeah, if she was joking in the Q&A session last year, this comment lays to rest any hope of hearing pregnancy announcements from Mackenzie and Ryan.
Mackenzie is yet to disclose the reason behind her decision.
Mackenzie and Edwards' Troubled Lives
Any avid viewer of "Teen Mom OG," would probably know a lot about Mackenzie and Edward's troubled life. On March 27, 2018, the police arrested Ryan for keeping illicit drugs in his home. Prior to this, he stayed in the Rehab center due to his drug addiction in 2017.
His brush with the law continued with more arrests over the past three years and he got locked up twice for extended periods of time.
Despite all this, Mackenzie has played the role of a good wife and stuck by his side, and helped him through recovery and tending to the kids.
We just might see Ryan make more efforts to be the kind of husband and father his family deserves.
Mackenzie and Edwards' Reality Show Departure
Contrary to the news that they were fired from the show, Mackenzie disclosed in a recent interview with The Sun that she and Edwards left the show out of principle. She claimed that she was tired of the show exploiting her children for money.
"I don’t think it’s OK to use stuff that Bentley has got going on emotionally for a dollar," Mackenzie told the news outlet.
"They’ll use their own children to make a buck."
The teen mum alum also stated that she and Ryan would not have any future deals with the network due to contrasting political views.
"The other thing with MTV is that we’re just not liberal," Mackenzie continued.
Despite the huge loss of a chunk of their income she further vowed not to ever return whatever the cost.
"I don’t care how much money you’re waving in my face; I’m going to stay true to myself and I’m not going to follow behind like a little puppet," she said.
"I’m just done, and I think that all that [MTV cares] about is money," Mackenzie added. "I have values, and I have morals, and I’m just not OK with it anymore," she concluded.
What's Next For Mackenzie?
Mackenzie is a brand ambassador for Buff bunny, a fitness clothing line, and often shares paid Ads via her social media platforms.
She also has partnerships with other brands, like hair care products, as evidenced by her posts touting the benefits of various products.
According to InTouch Weekly, the couple plans to start up her fitness business while Ryan would focus on his fabrication shop.
The family might just be fine without their "Teen Mom" income. Regardless, fans should expect more drama from the couple as their lives have only gotten more complicated and intense.
